  1. So much for s**tstorm Friday Sounds promising, albeit tinged with "we still want more, the door is still open" vibes.
  2. I like him but with only 2 possible incomings, for now at least, I think we need to focus on defence and defensive midfield, especially with losing Fusire and Valery to Afcon from mid December.
  3. Nothing much new takover wise, still in what appears to be a very optimistic place. Most important takeaway is that we should expect some radio silence for the next 2-3 wks while negotiations go on behind the scenes - and most importantly, in the absence of news, we don't panic! Its funny, in your head you have visions of these guys on the phone constantly to billionaires, not up to their necks in the minutiae of kit clashes, chicken and chips or beer lines
  4. DJ, get the Conga cued up for pre-match Du, du, du... https://youtube.com/shorts/2prNZgUYdRg?si=IfsOOZutSknNW2WU
  5. With respect Adam, and I'm sure this is well intentioned, I think if anything like this is done, it needs to come from an official source, such as @SWFC Trust No pun intended, we don't know you from Adam
  6. Realistically, we're only run at a profit with a threadbare squad and a fully engaged fanbase, as we've seen in the last 2 weeks. What that shows is just how effective the boycotts were with finally forcing him out of the door. But realistically, whoever takes over will run the club at a significant loss, even with fans fully engaged - and more so if they make the big infrastructure investments we desperately need.
  7. Birmingham finished 19 points clear of second place in L1 last season. 24 points clear of 3rd.
  8. I think his interest was/is inevitable. He's a vulture and we're a carcus. Not my choice but I do think he'd be an interim option, a bit like Milan was. He'd get us on tbe straight and narrow and look to sell us on at a profit.
  9. Sheikh Nannan Vac
  10. Friday 24 October + 28 days = Friday 21 November. 2 days before pigs at home.
  11. Great stuff Seen quite a few posts like this in last few days - maybe @SWFC Trust and/or one of the podcats can get involved by managing / distributing donated tickets to worthy individuals? Sorry guys - I know its not like you haven't already got a ridiculous amount of work on!!!
  12. Not at all. Much rather a fuller stadium and better atmosphere. I'd say the same for ticket prices generally as well.
  13. Nelly the (Golden) Elephant Packed his trunk and said goodbye to the circus
  14. I remain sceptical about the impact of a season ticket holder boycott but I'm taking part. @SWFC Trust have been careful and consistent in their comms throughout that they're not instructing supporters to do anything. They're asking. Two very different things.
