I reckon the real damage being done will only happen once Chansiri tries to start selling 'early bird' season tickets for next year around January time when the full damage is felt. A lot of people bought ST for this year at the start of 2025 and probably couldn't get a refund before this season started as he probably spent all that money already.

The last couple years once preseason starts up I'll go on youtube and type in 'EFL Championship preseason' and start seeing clubs uploading new videos of their preseason training sessions, don't care which club the upload is from I just want those vibes knowing the season is right around the corner. Just did it now and QPR, Oxford, Boro, and a few others have already started their training content uploads. Us though? THERE ISN'T EVEN A PRESEASON RIGHT NOW!!! We have no players, no manager, no club staff, there literally isn't anything happening right now at all. Good luck filming and uploading content for the fans when ZERO anything is going on right now. Will we even be able to field a team for the first match? Or will we get kicked out of the league entirely due to forfeit? F**K CHANSIRI

This is legitimately scarier than 2010. I remember donating to crowdfunding to keep us afloat before (thankfully) Mandarich bought us. Even back then it was a matter of no one at the time wanting to buy us but the old regime made it known they wanted out and were willing to sell. This time it looks like Chansiri deliberately wants to kill us as a club. Perhaps coordination towards a phoenix club should be seriously considered in the meantime.

Think Bannan might take a punt at a SPFL club to end his career? Even at 35-36 he could still do a damn good job for a club like Hearts, Motherwell, Dundee United, etc.

IIRC in North American sports leagues the players themselves pay their agent via a percentage of the contract said agent got them with their new club. The "buying" club does not pay extra fees to the agents and other 3rd party parasites. Why this has not be stopped in football I will never know.
