Stockport gaffer Dave Challinor be my pick should we make the change. I like Pedersen but do think the job is too big for him, especially with the turnover that will be required in the summer we need somebody with a bit more experience, it would help if they know the league somewhat too.

I agree to an extent but he doesn't help himself when he can hardly break into a jog to chase after a loose ball does he? Even if we created loads his positioning is that poor you wouldn't bet on him being there to stick it in anyway.

Didn't get him on the ball nearly enough, his first pass opened them up so naturally we did our best to bypass him the rest of the game.

If he was switched on like he should have been it wouldn't have happened, he was under no pressure and the game was in it's early stages. Notice he did his usual of going and hiding after making a series of mistakes. I do agree on your point about us playing it out from the back though, ridiculous.

Result doesn't bother me, the lack of effort from our side and how easy we gifted it to them does. Roll on next season.

It's not like we're demanding this group go out and win every game, as a bare minimum I'd have thought they would have had a go for 45 minutes in our biggest game of the season. We know these players will make mistakes, we know they'll tire and we know we don't have the quality to come off the bench but come on, not a single shot on target? We didn't even fancy putting the f**king corner in the box when we had it. It's like we're scared of the thought of even going ahead in a game because of the expected collapse that'll come after it.

So you think Iorfa was giving his all when he played Ings clean through in the first half with that pass back to the keeper?

Sorry but disagree, we know we have a limited playing squad but what we got today from several players was a lack of effort and that is unforgivable. Ok, we can't compete at this level over 90 minutes with our current group but today we didn't even bother showing up for 45 minutes and that's against one of the worst performing sides in the league and off the back of a break. Can't hide behind Dejphons mistakes forever, some of those players need to start taking ownership.

United were a bottom three side coming into today like ourselves, we know they have the better players and we all expected to get beat but to fail to get a shot on target for the entire duration of the game in a Steel City derby when they are arguably at their worst is beyond poor and should be called out. We have a lack of quality when it comes to playing 90 minutes, I'd expect us to at least try and compete for 45 with the players we do have.
