DC can find money when he wants
Daveyboy66 replied to SheffWed's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Someone's posted on another post in the Boardroom section that if there is an inquest into the club by the IFL the club is taken off DC and he has to fight to get it back...just how much money do we think he'll spend to do that ?? -

Video-TEXTOR ON WEDNESDAY AN CHANSIRI
Daveyboy66 replied to punkyhorrors's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Cheers Jake...Textor is bang on...the longer it takes the harder it's going to be to put some structure in place this season to get the club moving forward. Let's hope the input from the IFL might just be the pressure that DC needs to make him look for a deal sooner rather than later...fingers crossed -
Didn't he play up front in the second half and score ?

Watching him as a ten year old I thought all keepers caught the ball instead of pushing it away like the rest of them did. I remember him at Wembley as we beat the jocks 9-3 prompting my response to any of my jock army buddies when they they asked me the time... " nine past Haffey " the unfortunate Scotland keeper that day. And us beating the Rest of The world Team with my other favourite England here jimmy Greaves scoring the winner . There was a brilliant photo of him in one of the Sunday papers...in the snow away at Burnley...it was taken from the sidelines and showed him horizontal just under the bar catching the ball as he plucked it out of the top corner. I've tried all over to find it but never did. RIP Ron xx

The best thing to come out of this horrific situation
Daveyboy66 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
AND...should we get rid of the slimeball and get new owners we are going to need everyone on board cos' we'll be behind the 8ball due to DC so we'll have to pull another miracle out of the bag. If the new owners price the season tickets properly we could have THE biggest number of season tickets ever as we attempt the impossible again...I'm looking forward to that -
Agree this is a gripe against us following on from the game at Hillsborough...pathetic

Daveyboy66 replied to fredmciverslovechild's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Wasn't that one where all the Millwall scum turned up and someone got stabbed with an ornamental sword ?? We were trying to get the Red Cross guys on duty to help him but they wouldn't come on the terraces
