  1. Noticed on Saturday that prior to kick off there were no people out there in suits etc like there normally is. 2 Wednesday mascots and a Coventry lad only. I wonder if there were no sponsors for the game? If so, that's another income stream gone. Bloke near us reckoned there's only been uptake of it for the pigs game and 1 other coming up.
  2. We'll heed the call. Said all along that when a boycott is called for we'll do it. We've been attending and not spending. We stayed to the bitter end on Saturday and clapped the players who I feel all put a shift in.
  3. I said to my lad yesterday could well be a tipping point. Heavy defeat, pitch invasion, lot of anger and frustration being shown by the smaller than usual home crowd. I'm at the point now where I think we need the EFL to dock us points and really start to turn the screw. It's awful to say it but there needs to be something that will turn those that don't want to protest. For the record, we didn't go on the pitch, a record would cost me my job and him his university course. We have joined the other protests and helped the trust distribute stuff. I won't allow the fishmongers son to ruin our lives as well as our club. I don't know what the answer is, I feel like all our protests are just shouting into the void. We feel helpless but the 52 fans who held up the game yesterday are heroes in our eyes.
  4. Very sad. RIP Uncle Milan.
  5. Plus the coppers in the ground. Will have cost him a few bob today. Hopefully it's another turn of the screw.
  6. See my post above, booing happened before anyone was on the pitch as stewards moved into position.
  7. Plenty of support for those on the pitch round us. Stewards were booed as they moved into position. Then booed as they tried to move fans off the pitch. Don't let anyone with an agenda sway you, the vast majority support protests.
  8. The booing started when the stewards moved into position. Nobody was booing the protesters.
  9. Didn't hear any booing that could have been directed at those that went on the pitch. The boos were aimed at security who were trying to get them to leave. And the chants for chansiri to get out of the club were a lot louder than any boos. Don't let anyone convince you that what happened today isn't supported by the vast majority of Wednesday fans.
  10. Not going today. Family event on. First time I've not been bothered by a clash of events. To those who are going, don't spend in the ground and support the team from the stands.
  11. Our captain. Legend on and off the field. Very interesting interview if you ignore brazils waffle. I'm hoping the timing of this is significant, it's a real change of tack to hear Bazza talking like this so there's hope things are about to come to a head in my opinion. I don't think a takeover is happening or owt, more that it's reaching a point where DC will be forced out somehow. It's gonna be painful and it's gonna be ugly and it's gonna see us relegated this season. But it has to happen, DC has backed himself into a corner and has nowhere left to go. Even if he gets money from somewhere it only kicks the can down the road. Don't spend any money on the club. Not a single penny. Starve him of cash and he'll be gone eventually.
  12. Wilder seems to encourage his players to go down at every available opportunity from what I've seen. Nice to see us on the right end of one for once.
  13. Don't actually care today. None of it matters as long as he's in charge. Another loss coming and pigs will win. This is actually a good thing as the absolute tools who have been saying it's not that bad, we're above them at least, will now shut up. Might even push a few into protesting.
  14. I've been told corporate boxes are down to 12 this season from 28 last season. Would be easy to count boxes with lights on and people in
  15. They're selling em before games at points around the stadium. I'm sure before the next league game there'll be info from the trust about where and when.
  16. The whole point is that it looks out of place I think. It's supposed to stand out. Though as I'm typing this I'm realising you're probably on the windup fishing for responses.
  17. Saw a few dotted about. Unfortunately I saw a few on blue seats. My neck is aching from all the head shaking I've done today.
  18. 12 sold/being used compared to 28 last season. The money isn't coming in. All he has is potd, away fans and stuff bought from shop and Kiosks. Stop spending money at the ground. Stop buying tickets. Stop buying merchandise. We can force him out if we all work together.
  19. When's the pig game? That would be a big one to boycott. I'm thinking of doing it anyway cos I'm not sure my mental health can take seeing it, I've had some seriously bad stuff go on recently so don't need more. We probably need to target a closer game though. If the call goes out we will heed it. From what I heard from others today many more would too.
  20. We stayed til the end. The players deserved the applause at the end, it's not their fault they aren't quite there, either through age or ability. Chansiri has provided us with a team that can't compete. They all tried today, from what I hear the pig players can't say that about last night. Nobody has downed tools and the fans in general haven't turned on the players and manager.
  21. Four lanes chippy had a large queue as per. Saw plenty of people outside the ground with takeaway food in hand.
  22. I said he was a shining light today. My lad said he was like quality gravy on a crap Sunday dinner. He's developing quite a way with words.
  23. Same on the north. Absolutely ridiculous.
  24. I actually took a pic from the north so quality not great. I was curious as it looked odd with a line of em. Red ties so we assumed Bristol officials.
