  1. It could be but it's a strange coincidence - especially given Mandaric turned up last month claiming to be owed £10M, flew to London to meet with the club, and then stated it was best if he wasn't involved. Anyway, desperately hope there's nothing in it but just made me even more uneasy about this bizarre story.
  2. "Milan Mandarić , who is well known to the Slovenian public as the owner of Olimpija Ljubljana, is also in the running to enter the ownership structure" - it's not entirely clear but the article suggests this would be alongside the Italian group
  3. I really hope this whole thing is total BS but it's worrying that Guardascione seems to be connected in some way to Mandaric. https://sobotainfo.com/novica/sport/kdo-je-potrkal-na-vrata-mure-zapisi-tujih-medijev-razkrivajo-zanimive-prijeme-italijanov/292596 https://nkmura.si/clanek/mura-se-je-odzvala-na-zapise-o-prevzemu
  4. This excellent - we need everyone fighting for the future of the club.
  5. The large R&D tax credit of £700k means the club has reported to HMRC that it spent in region of £5-6 million on research and development activities
  6. Would have thought it'll be relatively easy for most PL clubs to comply with the regulator?
  7. Absolutely - @Owlstalk Admin Team? If not, @SWFC Trust how about combining your initial message with this one as a new thread: I think many would really appreciate the opportunity to engage with this.
  8. If this happens, is there any indication of how long clubs would have to become compliant?
  9. Fair enough I suppose . Not sure how I'll be able to join for the first meet then?
  10. @TheGaffer could you send me a private message? I've only recently joined Owlstalk - only decided to join because of the dire straits the club is in.
  11. I'm in and willing to commit time where possible. Would this strictly involve planning for the post-DC era (i.e., possible fan ownership, potential buyers and investors etc.)? Or would it include protests / DC out campaigning too?
  12. A refined version of the Chansiri reign timeline would make an excellent flyer. Although I like the idea of t-shirts many seem to think those wearing them could be ejected from the stadium or banned. An all black t-shirt with the logo that was changed by Chansiri could work though.
  13. I agree, mate. It's not a problem whatsoever, it should absolutely be part of the protest. But for those who want Chansiri out and are not comfortable with disrupting the game there are other ways to contribute.
  14. I agree with @eckington owl that boycotting the games is an effective form of protest but it needs to be followed by a boycott of season ticket purchases to really have an impact on the chairman. To ensure this happens, the protests need to continue. There are many ways to do this - including methods which don't involve disrupting matches for those that are against it - to keep up the pressure on Chansiri. I also agree with the below but feel there is enough momentum for the protests not to stop with them.
