I didn’t even know 5 embargoes was possible. We truly are a record breaking club under Chansiri.

Every single competent Prem and Championship club should be coming to scout our games now - we’ve got at least 3 18-20 year olds playing every game (more once Charles is back) that could probably be picked up for less than £1m in January (except for probably Charles). It might seem like they’re vultures but really it’s just been a competently run club.

We’re not losing millions - the wage budget is now significantly lower. He has cash flow problems, but P&L wise we’re probably doing amazing and if he survives to January, he probably keeps hold of us for a lot longer. The only hope we have now is that the loan at the end of this month doesn’t get rolled again - if he has to find the money, he’s f*****.

There’s a player in there but he really does need a loan at a lower level. Personally I think Weaver would be the better option if we’re set on having to play a young lad back there - seems more composed. He could do with a loan spell in league 2 for the second half of this season to toughen him up a bit for next season imo.

He’s still trying to hang on btw. If the debt gets rolled at the end of this month (up in the air currently), he’ll be here for another 12 months at least.

We’ve got a points deduction almost certainly due - depending on the size of it we could be negative at Christmas. Miles off it and it’s the fault of 1 man only

I’ll be honest - I don’t think this is the mega bomb drop that the trust think it is… It’s basically just summing up what everyone already knew - Chansiri is exceptional wealth… just not exceptionally wealth enough to run/fund a club of our size anymore. He’s still wealthier than 99.9999% of people will ever be.

Not in the championship - 23 by Rotherham is the lowest points total. Depending on the size of the deduction, we could be well under that imo.

Fairytale endings don’t usually happen unfortunately - we as fans just need to make sure we show them appreciation for what they’ve done at the club. (Personally I don’t think either of them leave/retire this year if Chansiri does go and we get relegated anyway - I imagine they’d both want to end with us getting promoted again under a new owner)

Looks like two of the three players referenced by Biggs was Jaden Heskey and Sam Rak-Sakyi. Wonder who was the palace youngster?

Honestly I just feel sorry for the young lads that were probably hoping to kick start their careers today with a loan move to a championship side.

The worst thing about selling players now is you just know Chancer is prioritising cash up front - when in reality the best deal for someone like Charles would have addons and a future % of sell on fee built in. We’re probably going to end up with £2m now rather than 20-25% of the next sale which could be multiple times that.

I feel absolutely sick at the thought of Charles been sold. Genuinely can’t put into words the hatred I have for Chansiri (at least not without breaking the swear filter).

I’m sure the clubs insurance would love that…
