  1. Who is this?
  2. I haven't booked anything yet, however I want to go. Midweek games are the easiest for me to attend, and with the cup only opening one stand I don't have to worry about the lad not seeing anything from the kop I understand the argument not to go, I don't have the points to go away...
  3. Well I'm surprised this didn't happen. A lot of people seemed very keen indeed... Or is it for next week?
  4. Although I'm not going im hoping there's a few whistles in the crowd
  5. I vaguely remember it being illegal Very old law, but I think it is
  6. I thought having a whistle in the crowd was a old offence from the early 1900s It's a good idea tho
  7. I mean everyone as a individual. Rather than one big case
  8. A little extreme in normal circumstances, but could north stand ticket holders just go down the small claims route, costing about 30/40 quid Name him as the defendant not swfc. Thousands of court cases would drive him mental, He would almost certainly plead guilty in every case... But he's sold you something he can't provide. If even a few thousand people did this, god it would annoy him!!
  9. That's what I thought. I know some of the other club owners elsewhere have been hated But this genuinely feels dangerous for him to return
  10. This isn't inciting anything, but I genuinely don't think we will see him ever again I don't think he would genuinely risk coming anywhere near Hillsborough or Sheffield ever again, and I would be surprised if the police didn't warn him against it
  11. It was the "Thai quality" bit that got me!!
  12. Just had a mad idea Could we hold a funeral for the club. You know, maybe a vicar or someone looking like one on a PA system Flowers Folk dressed in black Maybe speeches from ex players A couple of funeral cars Ideally outside the kop end or the road side, not to cause offence near the Hillsborough memorial. Would gain quite a bit of traction I think. I'm sure someone whose a fan has access to something to help, be it cheap flowers etc Ideally would need to be done before the season begins, just to gain coverage. I'm sure a go fund me would grab a few grand easily!!!
  13. This sounds crackers, I know.... But hear me out, I didn't agree with the idea at first, but I did come around to it Speaking to a friend of mine who works as a freelance writer, over a few pints we spoke about protests being covered at various clubs over time. He said the stories that resonate with people are the good ones, rather than tennis balls being thrown about etc. Then he had a crazy moment, where he suggested that Wednesday fans, should go and sell out other small teams in the area, whilst wearing swfc shirts, and raising a few quid for charity (collections etc) He thought it wouldn't be hard for say 2000 Wednesday fans to go and watch say, Stockbridge or hallam (although this wouldn't count), in a swfc shirt, and set there record attendance for a game. Throw in charity collections and the media would jump on it, as it's a good cause.... With photos of a few thousand swfc fans shirted up at tiny grounds Chansiri/media etc would see they we have money to spend and we are giving it to other teams, rather than his pocket. I know it's a lot of organisation, but if you go by this place, a lot of people are going to have quiet Saturdays! Plus it's almost friendly time
  14. I don't actually watch it, but have any players been involved in the Thursday match press?
  15. Had a really strange encounter this morning. Sat in Brussels airport waiting for my flight home, on the laptop, and I thought I would check if any news came through about wages being paid, checked official site etc Middle aged lady to the side of me spoke to me, at lengths about the state of the club. Claimed she worked for the company that distributes some of the media/video that was responsible for the transition between ifollow and sky sports plus (I didn't catch this entirely as it was after what follows), I believe she said efl digital group. Apparently after the shea Charles debacle at the end of the transfer window, chansiri didn't want any contact with the media,as he felt that they fueled Charles leaving for a day or so (by reporting on what happened at the fans forum) As of last week, when the media got wind about wages not being paid, the club (ahem) wanted to stop doing media duties pre and post match, but was told that it's a league requirement. Also the club (ahem) didn't want to publish that the wages hadn't been paid, but again was told it was a legal requirement , so they posted it on the last day of the month incase they could pay before this and brush it under the carpet I questioned this, and she simply said.... Why do you think there are no quotes in any of the publications about it, and apparently the EFL have gave us strict warnings about sanctions if we don't do pre match media, which would be deductions!
  16. I suggested a while ago that we should all throw our chansiri shirts away, on the pitch in bulk, I originally suggested a televised game I think it would gain loads of media attention
  17. I have the first one, never seen anyone else wearing it either. People ask where it's from, but I assume you haven't been able to buy them for years.
  18. He's a Harvey price tribute act
  19. I've just posted another thread, without seeing this I think we should all throw the Chansiri sponsored kits away en masse, ideally on the pitch
