  1. I don't think Cadz or Fusire will start with all the airmiles. Unfortunately we are stuck with another anonymous J-Lowe / Ugbo partnership.....
  2. Great to see some bobble hats for sale on the coldest weekend of the year. We are used to hats and scarves being out of stock until the heatwaves in May.
  3. Great to hear the real story. Seemed a really good bloke as well as a brilliant player but took an unwarranted pasting from sections of the fanbase for leaving, when in reality it was another DC special.
  4. This is where new owners will need to come up with some initiatives to get people in the ground. Schoolkids / Sheffield Uni / Hallam Uni students specifically who have not yet been converted to blue and white but are there for the taking. Currently you need a purchase history to buy - probably cost us a total sell-out for this game - but also probably understandable they didn't have much time considering the security aspect.
  5. Agree with all this. I'd be embarrassed to have him representing my club. He blatantly lies, totally without any class, only treats his mates in the media with any politeness whatsoever. I actually think he privately suffers from imposter syndorme (rightly so) - hence his "eatin a sanwedge while talkin to a Premieh League manageh" rant - and knows this is the only job he can get.
  6. Memberships, season tickets, half season tickets, match bundles and ability to buy individual match tickets are perfectly reasonable choices in my opinion. The club can't offer a tailored package to every set of circumstances.
  7. Charles Valery Dish McGuinness Lowe Marv Windass Baz Shea Gassama Smith
  8. Important difference between cult hero and club legend imo
  9. Our fans probably don't want to hear it but next year isn't about promotion it's about being competitive in League 1 and stabilising off the pitch. Then building ready for a promotion push in 27/28 season. The amount of under the bonnet damage done to this club means 18-24 months just to get back on an even keel.
  10. We've got Baz and Svante. That's it. No workload management or rotation possible. Desperately need Chalobah back but history says it's doubtful he'll then be injury free for the rest of the season. Valery is playing really well as cover but is a defender and will be missing for AFCON (potentially missing 8 league + cup games) and will be targeted in the January transfer window. You look at Coventry offloading a player as good as Ben Sheaf to Wrexham because they're loaded with Victor Torp, Matt Grimes, Rudoni, Eccles and Sakamoto as well. Really highlights what a massive mess we have been left with.
  11. Good summary from Jordan. He does speak accurately on our situation unlike lots of uninformed generalised comments by the media. I am hopeful that the EFL would look at our specific circumstances and not insist on further points deductions if Chansiri didn't get paid - it is absolutely ludicrous that new owners should be penalised for not paying a previous owner who was responsible for the whole mess.
  12. I think they have Goose Creative doing it. If you haven't seen it check out his presentation on our owl branding - it's brilliant and shows the potential now the club is hopefully being dragged into the modern world.
  13. I just don't know why J-Lowe would run towards traffic (keeper and defender) instead of pulling towards the back post and giving himself more than a millisecond to realise he had the chance. Strikers instinct.
  14. Another simple but effective move by the administrators - allowing non member/ foundation fans who have attended matches to buy tickets ahead of general sale. This is exactly how TPP should be utilised Friday 7th November 9am: Supporters with 50 or more Ticket Priority Points Friday 7th November 2pm: Supporters with 40 or more Ticket Priority Points Monday 10th November 9am: Supporters with 30 or more Ticket Priority Points Monday 10th November 2pm: Supporters with 20 or more Ticket Priority Points
  15. It's a bit chicken and egg for me. Yes there are a lot of us hardcores who will be there come what may. But we are where we are. There are 1000s of people, who whether we agree or not, will only start to come once we are actually good. Look at Birmingham City. 3 years ago they could only get 17k at home. Now they've got season ticket waiting list of 20,000.
  16. I think Kris and the admin guys should go in the dressing room (Paixao/DC style) at the Hawthorns and tell the players the best way of getting Norwich filled up is by beating West Brom
  17. As we are in administration and need money for wages etc I think getting the patch up jobs done in this manner is spot on. New owners will be able to do things properly. Important thing is all trace of Chansiri is removed.
  18. This game is live on FREE television. It's live on Sky but it is also being shown on ITV1 - Sunday lunchtime. Put your seatbelts on folks because I'm absolutely certain this will be the next boycott - a chance to make a statement with an even bigger audience.
  19. The next big event everyone should be talking about is a boycott of the Steel City derby. Live on ITV. Potential to be an absolutely massive statement. Stop putting energy into the away games thing and start planning for this...... Last night didn't happen because a few grumps on twitter were angry about something - it happened because there was a huge campaign effectively organised over a period of time. We are 1 month away....
  20. Why would you ask for respect for your decision? Go or don't go. I think it's clear that you would be more respected by not going. Obviously you should not be subject to any detriment, but don't expect validation if you attend.
  21. A fanbase who were happy at Michael Beale because he put Gerrard's training cones out, despite everybody with a brain knowing he was a total bluffer.
  22. Could not stand the bloke and was praying we didn't hire him after we sacked Munoz. I've done a complete 180 on him since. Weird. Guess we have had bigger problems and he has done another very good job at Charlton.
  23. Don't know why it's difficult to understand - somebody had to organise and lead a boycott and that was the Trust. They have clearly laid out what the boycott is. You will never get 100% who like it, but they have to have some kind of criteria. And that is "not a pound in the ground". Away games not currently included. The end. Get behind the stated boycott. There will be far more people renewing early bird STs at £500 a pop (which ARE part of the boycott) than fans going to away games. We should be concentrating on getting the message out to people who are on the fence about renewing by handing over 500 quid rather than somebody who's spent £25 going to Wrexham with £1.25 of that ending up with DC.
  24. The fact both anonymous callers were able to articulate their sheer frustration and emotions in a very calm way was excellent IMO. They both represented the feelings of thousands of us and whilst it's a shame more folk did not join them on the pitch, I am pleased they faced no repurcussions and that (some) stewards, players and fellow fans were supportive of their actions.
