We can hope that every team takes us for granted, and every few games we sneak a win!

This is what I can’t make my mind up about… - is he just completely incompetent which would make sense his family packed him off to the UK with a bit of inheritance money, just to keep him out of the way of their successful business, as they knew what a failure he’d be - or is it down to spite now that he knows he’ll get a tiny return on what he’s invested and doesn’t give a to$$ and is quite happy to see it run into the ground now

That 1% chance of promotion could have happened last season. It just needed a little investment in new players last January. any hope of promotion has long gone. too much time has past to think he will sell before being forced into administration - at that point only the administrator wins. Not the staff who are owed wages, or the other small businesses that are no doubt owed monies from works they’ve done for the club.

What must the likes of Gibbs-White and Rice be thinking when Henderson starts ahead of them. Looks like another England era I’ll have very little interest in following

Not buying a season ticket until he's gone

2 not renewed last season and definitely won’t be buying this season -
Exactly this. It was exactly the same when we beat Peterborough and we filled the pitch with supporters. Those are the type of moments you live for as a football fan! best of luck in the final!

How many times does Johnson get caught wrong side….
-
Shows exactly what minimal investment was needed in January to cement us in the playoffs….that’s what makes it even more WTF

I love hearing how healthy and pro science is the best way to be……I’m confident that there’s not many player’s nowadays that are anywhere near waddle’s ability, even for a few seconds

Whilst it’s hard to look past Danny as the future could have been so different, there’s every chance there’ll be a manager out there that’s worked successfully in hard conditions and over achieved. Granted we need to find that right person and it’s not as if there’s a history of excellent managerial appointments under our current dictator. Don’t forget that wherever Danny has been he’s been used to better facilities, technology, support; be that at Southampton, the German national team. The job he’s done here working with what he’s been given demonstrates that he’s going to go far in the game, based on talent and I wish him well. We need a lot of luck until the man at the top does the right thing and fooks off….but we could get lucky in the interim

Sadly that’s a trait of a narcissist! as for playing in a half empty stadium potentially next season, or even if it’s League One the season after….if Chansiri is gone there’ll be at least 3 of us supporters buying season tickets again, having not done so this season because of him
-
It certainly did

I haven’t seen another post on this, so apologies if there is one. Did anyone go to this last night at the City Hall? Really well attended and good to hear from the likes of Waddle, Carlton Palmer, Nicky Weaver, Shez, Sterland…..and Bazza! I enjoyed it on the whole but there were definite signs at least a couple had been on a proper session

SWFC 1 : 2 Coventry City Matchday Thread

Ugbo is scoring today….you heard it here first -
Game changed when he went off. No attacking outlet
-
Why not have thousands of fans turn up to either Sheffield FC or a Hallam match instead of going to hillsborough. And use that as the protest whilst putting money into clubs who’s owners would appreciate it.
-
Ditto mate! It’s horrible, which really makes me doubt how long people can continue to work for someone like that…can’t see DR lasting much longer at this club.
-
You’re right, we should stick with them both. Am sure they’ll come good ….
-
You like to sign our poo players who are no better than League One standard….so come and buy Ugbo and Lowe to give us at least a small chance of getting a striker in that looks like they care and might even score the odd goal

Coventry City v Owls FA Cup R3 Matchday Thread

I think that sums up why we’re a mid-table Championship side. The decision making from supposed professionals is absolutely shocking. No more so than Lowe, and Kobacki who seems to find it impossible to lift his head up to see what’s on for him -

Ugbo doesn’t even look like he knows where he should be running…has anyone checked that it’s the same person who was decent last year? Couldn’t be further away from that player -
im surprised if there’s no casualties in the away end top tier…

Makes sense to drop our best goal threat and keep a couple of absolute liabilities in the starting lineup!

I don’t think he’d go back to Southampton and make a difference to their survival chances. The danger is if other clubs like him and want to buy him from them. The word on the street was that Bournemouth were lining up a bid for him in Jan
