The way they played at Birmingham and defended like their lives depended on it would've got us the play-offs last season. Ok, that might be a stretch but I think we'd have definitely been closer.

I voted Iorfa. Bannan and Amass were fantastic highlight reel stuff but Iorfa seemed to be in the right place at the right time when he needed to be. At the same time, Max Lowe was his usual subtle yet effective self.

Dom has his attributes like pace but when he receives the ball, its like he's got his boots on but still in the box they came in. I don't dislike him but think he's League One stuff. That said, you can't say he's not a tryer. I noticed Weaver looking around and trying to marshal the team and not being afraid to get stuck in. Looks a good prospect to me.

Some players didn't have their best games today, no two ways about it. But given the dire situation they're in, I will cut them some slack if the effort is there. Ref clearly delayed kick off as he'd forgotten about his contact lenses and needed to take them out.
