To be fair to Grimsby, our fight is not their fight. They are under no obligation to help us, and nor should we expect them to boycott a game against us just because we want our chairman out.
Their first loyalty is to their own club as ours is to Wednesday. If the tables were turned and we took 5 or 6 thousand to a midweek cup game at a struggling club, I'm guessing that wouldn't be an issue. They just want to support their team and enjoy their win, and I have no problem with that. We'd do the same if the situation were reversed.
