Surely they were reporting fact. That an agreement had been signed. They weren’t forming an opinion on the buyer and their ability to conclude the deal.

Agree. It’s difficult because it’s the bizzle and they have persisted with this Walton rumour multiple times over a period of several months. Probably would’ve been best to just stay quiet this last time. And come back and said I told you so if it did happen. If it doesn’t happen then it is going to be a difficult one for Bizzle to come back from sadly.

Yeah agree if we moved ground I would love the clock and the south stand triangle on the roof to be recreated. And a new kop to be modelled on the old one but with useable space underneath

I’m sure things will move around bid wise next week. Suggestions that some parties may have indicated they will make a bid but just haven’t done it today (perhaps continuing to examine data room 2 info or maybe even waiting to get an indication of what other offers may have been made). Some bidders may withdraw if they have already been outbid and only wanted it on the cheap. Interesting times.
