  1. Bought a pass but no option to watch the game.
  2. Max Lowe must just be a bit thick. There's no other explanation for it.
  3. Then Ihiekwe passes it straight to them and frantically lunges in and concedes a corner. Laughable
  4. Barry Bannan goal you say??
  5. Another uslesss ref. What was wrong with that? Pathetic reffing
  6. Beadle: 7 - Comfortable. A few heart in mouth moments playing out from the back though. Needs sorting in training. Iorfa: 7 - Some great runs down the right which on another night we'd have scored from Ihiekwe: 7. 5 - Solid. Always feel confident that any crosses in to the box will get pumped away when he's playing Bernard: 7 - Did well. Valentín: 8 - He's gaining confidence and can be as much a threat as Johnson is down the left if he can learn to whip a ball in now and then. Much better defensively too and was never really troubled. Looked knackered when he came off. Well done Pol. Johnson: 7 - Did well but needs to be a bit more composed when shooting outside the box and sometimes a pass is the better option. Struggled after Bannan went off and didn't manage to link up as well down the left 2nd half. Will literally do anything than touch the ball with his right foot. Vaulks: 7 - Tough task with just 2 in midfield, extra tough when Momo is next to him who doesn't really want the ball. Bannan: 7 - a few wayward passes but ticked us over. Really noticed him when he wasn't on the pitch, Plymouth had the whole midfield to themselves. Poveda: 8.5 - MOTM - He can make something happen 20 yards in his own half and instigate a break. Rarely loses the ball and always seems to make the correct decision. Pure class. Gassama: 8 - looked more of a free role today, drifting centrally and even found himself on the right a couple of times. Another player who can make something out of nothing. Ugbo: 7.5 - Another solid performance. You always feel there's a chance anytime the ball is in the box when he's playing. Tracked back to win the ball and cooly laid it on a plate for Gassama where others might have panicked and snatched at it. Momo Diaby: 4 - Seems he isn't used to the pace of the Championship and rather than adapting he still goes his 2nd gear pace. Huge gaps in midfield which Plymouth exploited and too slow on the ball when receiving a pass. Almost cost us with his scuffed back pass. A liability when he's playing unfortunately. Cadamarteri: 6 - Nothing of note but thankless task being up on his own with little service 2nd half. Bambo Diaby: 6 Musaba: 6 Palmer: 6
  7. Clearly there's a few on here who don't know the offside rule. I can see why the lino thought it might've been offside, but he was guessing.
  8. He could've passed it to Messi there and we'd have conceded.
  9. That's what I'm thinking too, I posted this last year. He hasn't got much money left and will be trying to squeeze out as much money from the stadium for as long as possible.
  10. You buy a ticket, you fund Chansiri. It's that simple.
  11. I commend your positivity, there's a lot further to fall than league 1.
  12. If that's what you're seeing then you really are clueless
  13. And tonight there'll still fans getting ready to scapegoat him.
  14. Yeah... he only tries when he thinks he'll get dropped. That must be it
  15. It's a red all day long. It's one of those tackles where he's scared to hurt himself so he raises his studs. If he'd slid in and tackled with his right foot, the foot that was closest to the ball, then it would have been legal. But he's lunging down onto the ball, both feet off the ground, two footed, his left boot and studs rolling over the ball and onto Gassama's boot, he then follows through 2 footed straight through Gassama. Awful, awful challenge, potentially career ending if Gassama's right foot had been planted. Totally reckless.
  16. What a game and what a performance. We came out strong and with purpose from the off and everyone played their part. What I really loved seeing was when Bannan or Bernard would have the ball at around the halfway line, look up and see atleast 4 players spread across the pitch. It was like we were playing with 4 forwards, sometimes 5 if Valentin had pushed on. Contrast that with a few weeks ago when you would just have 1 isolated Smith or Gregory surrounded by 3 defenders. Also if anyone else noticed some of those 30 yard midfield splitting balls we made, one direct pass through the middle, in between the lines, which took out their whole midfield and turned defence into attack so quickly. Dawson 7 - Not much to do. Recycled the ball well and doesn't seem to take an age like he used to do. Valentin 7 - Another good performance from him. Having him pushing up creates a big headache for defenders. Couple of good runs and crosses in to the box which will get better with time. Still think he's building up his confidence. Bernard 8 - Very good performance. Also nice bit of skill to completely do their right back and create a one on one chance. I thought it was Gassama at first. Ihiekwe 9 - Another fantastic performance. Defence looks in control when he's playing. Great awareness to spot danger and stopped a certain goal with his sliding block. Johnson 9 - MOTM. He did everything, scored, assisted and also sprinted 60 yards back to cover one of their counter attacks and stop a goalscoring opportunity. Hunger, desire and full of energy the whole game. Well done Marvin. Bannan 8 - Links up so well with Johnson, Windass and Gassama. Always made himself available and was given the space by Hull to completely dictate the tempo of the game. Big mistake on their part. Slowed the game down just enough when needed, but also always had his eyes open to create a through ball to open Hull up. A perfect balance which made Hull wary to attack too much. Palmer 8 - After forgetting he was playing in midfield and nearly getting caught out early on he did really well. Was all over the park and made some really aggressive passes which got us up the pitch. Gassama 9 - They were completely terrified of him, you could see the sheer panic from their defenders. His goal was a thing of beauty. Not only his individual skill but also his passing and linking up with Johnson and Bannan as well as his tracking back to help out when needed. Windass 8 - Wonderfully taken goal and linked midfield to attack well. Musaba 8 - Another great game from him. Again, it's not just his attacking side of the game but also his willingness to get back and help out defensively. Worked his socks off. Cadamarteri 6 - Lead the line well and was the instigator of many of our high presses. Once Gassama and Musaba get that little extra composure in the final 3rd Cadamarteri will score a hat full. Fletcher 7 - Did well when he came on. Unlucky not to score with his head. You could see how much it would have meant to him.
  17. Johnson. Scored the opener, assisted Gassama and was a constant threat all game. He even saved a goalscoring opportunity down at the other end covering for running the width of the pitch to slide in.
  18. He's been phenomenal since he's come back. Love him!
  19. Leicester 1 - 0 Huddersfield Cannon
  20. He'll turn in to a Wednesday legend and has all the attributes. He's strong, he's quick and he's a natural finisher. He can even play the lone striker role. That assist yesterday was no fluke and was a fantastic bit of play. He saw the play developing at the back and came to the left winger position dragging their centre back with him. He got in front of his marker to win the flick on to Musaba. His turn of pace then beats the defender to the ball then quick thinking first time pass in to the space that he himself has created. Very intelligent play overall. And that's not the first time he's done that, linking up numerous times already this season with Musaba, Bannan and Johnson. Without his movement, strength, speed and quick thinking that goal would never have happened. He drags defenders all over the place and they're terrified of him. We have some player on our hands.
  21. Fantastic effort all round, a real team performance that showed true grit. Technically we were woeful though, we could hardly string 2 passes together, balls bouncing off us and players constantly making the wrong decisions, turning in to the opposition, not releasing the ball earlier. The pitch was in a right state though and what mattered most was the 3 points. What we lacked in technical ability we made up for not just in hard work but teamwork, everyone helping each other, doubling up on players and covering when needed. I really felt there was a togetherness and resolutness to our play. Dawson 7 - Flapped at 1 cross coming in but for the most part looked comfortable. Having Ihiekwe in front of him certainly helped. Valentin 8 - Him and Musaba especially worked hard to stifle that right side. Millar tried to come inside a few times but Valentin was well drilled, just once he was able to cut inside and get a shot off. Bernard 7 - Didn't notice him much but I suppose that's a good thing. Ihekwe 9 - MOM. I felt confident every cross would be smashed away. Famewo 6 - Did ok, he did a couple of decent runs when the space opens up but seems to clog up as soon as he gets into the final 3rd. Palmer 7 - Did well. Johnson 8 - One of our main attacking threats, took his goal really well and whipped in a couple of deadly balls too. Shame no one was able to get on the end of one. Vaulks 7 - Did well, constantly hassled and harried and covered their wingers when cutting inside. Didn't allow them any easy shots. (Byers) 5 - Battled hard but he looked way off the pace. Never a red, debatable whether it was even a booking. But it was a tired challenge from someone who seems to be not quite up to the pace of the Championship unfortunately. Bannan 6 - As always tried to make things happen but his passing was all over the place, no more than anyone else though. Battled hard though and always tried to make himself available. (Bakinson) 7 - Similar to Vaulkes, made a nuisance of himself and fantastic 60 yard run at the end to see the game out. Musaba 6 - Not his type of game to shine at all. However, he worked a lot harder than I'd have expected him to. Him and Valentin really had their work cut out but they executed it perfectly. He was always there to cover and prevent any cutting in from the wings. Cadamateri 7 - I thought it was him who scored at first but great assist nonetheless. I really think we have a special player here. It didn't quite come off for him today but never allows it to get him down. Gassama 7 - His best game so far. Looked dangerous albeit a little erratic. Like Musaba, worked hard defensively which I wouldn't usually expect from a tricky winger. (Fletcher) 6 - Did okay when he came on. (Windass) 6 - Didnt really notice him.
  22. Just before the challenge you could see him looking exhausted after chasing shadows all game. A tired tackle. He hasn't looked himself all season and I think he knows he's just not quite cut out for the Championship. Fantastic League 1 player though.
  23. The whole back line looked more assured tonight and I I'm sure having Ihiekwe in the middle had something to do with it. Every time Preston crossed it you just knew he'd be getting his head on it.
