  1. Exactly, his lack of cooperation will sink him, its a case of when not if
  2. A single goal defeat would be fine wouldn't it? Then two weeks of 40,000 fans trying to be accounting and property experts
  3. Did McCoist say DC has murdered Sheffield Wednesday? I love it when Scottish people say 'Murder'
  4. Remember @Barnsleyowl1996 @Owlstalk Admin Teamdont like us attaching @thebizzleinto questions so @Barnsleyowl1996i think you should apologize to @thebizzle regards, @New Zealand Owls
  5. Can't see any scenario other than a comfortable QPR win. But does any result matter?
  6. I mean, the support we are getting from other clubs is one of the most heart warming parts to this horror show. Fair play to QPR and all the other clubs we have faced so far who have supported this.
  7. Imagine if we could hang in there until the next window. Scrape together 4/5 wins until Jan when hopefully the ownership is sorted once and for all. Positives- we will be comfortable in our own skin. No desire to do anything other than survive. 2 or 3 youth players to have break out seasons. At least one other champ club to have an absolute mare, Hopefully Derby or even better...blunts (highly unlikely). Then just compete with the other weaker squads like an Oxford for example. and finally, a whole load of luck with injuries.
  8. Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go ahead and do this.....and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!!!!! 1-0 owls. Tugboat 85. Yes I'm drunk Goodnight
  9. Yeah that could be a logical reason. I think we may be in this current phase for the long haul now. The loan repayment outcome may speed things up but its all new ground we are covering isn't it? Brand new Independent regulator, DC the loon, potential new owners perception of the situation and EFLs involvement etc etc. These are grim times but things will turn in our favour....we just don't know when!
  10. I went to the last ashes over here, just sat In with the Aussies at the SCG. Wasn't as painful as you might think. Lots of banter, beer and Ritchie Benaud masks!
  11. Being a golfer I would've liked more a follow through with an exaggerated finish but good clean strike of the head, didn't flip his wrists too early. Football you say? 2-1 to the opposites after a good start. McNeill for us
  12. Random one linked to when I started going to games regularly. Liverpool at home on a baking hot day at the end of 96-97. O'Neill Donaldson's brilliant finish in front of the kop to put us 1-0 up and dreaming of European qualification. Great atmosphere and the pitch was immaculate. Felt like a big occasion. I won't mention the last 10 mins worth of chaos after that goal....
  13. Callum Patterson looked non league standard at times. Luke Varney was dynamite for a while
  14. Agreed, they were superb as a pair, technically sound and both great in the air too.
  15. Only watched highlights so can't vote but surprised more hasn't been said about Cadz finish, absolutely deadly. I really like him, can be a bit cumbersome, and isn't great at holding the ball up but has a clean strike on him and gets in good positions. He's an asset.
  16. Has to be pitch invasions now. Am I right I thinking most of reading and Blackpool protests were in league 1? Look at the platform we've got, size of the club, size of the league and size of the fanbase
  17. Think I was at both games in 04-05. 7-0 on aggregate was it? Anyway it's all really pointless isn't it 3-1 to them with a couple of late goals to kill us off. Great touch by their owners with the shirt sales. Wish them all the best
  18. Please bring armstrong back, the headlines virtually write themselves
  19. Good on everyone who will be attending. Must be at least 500 or so London owls? even if a quarter of them turned up it could be effective especially with how easy it is to get around London
  20. Feel a lot different and optimism will return. (Fat fingers sent that post too early)
  21. As much as some fans are protecting themselves by imagining the worst case scenario and him being at the helm in league 1, too much has happened, too much water under the bridge and more Importantly a complete lack of ongoing funds will mean he is a goner. It is literally just a case of when. I would be astonished if we don't have new owners by the turn of the year. Next summers build up to a league 1 campaign will
  22. Hope the protests go well, that's the main aim i guess. Really miss the process of wondering how the team are lining up, if we will win, where we will finish the season etc, all seems irrelevant with this charlatan still at the helm
  23. 2-0 to them, another spirited performance but lack of quality across the pitch will show.
  24. As sung by John Helm, he used to love a good 'a goal for Wed nes day!!!'
