  1. Sounds like Hillsborough over the last 25 years
  2. Wow. "in the interest of good relations between UK and Thailand" It actually comes across a bit insulting. It's a single spoilt brat failing in business, can anyone honestly say this has negatively impacted your view on Thai people or Thailand itself? I'm glad the 20 guys in a minibus are having a go but Betts has gone a bit OTT with this letter.
  3. Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick, but considering some of the vile stuff thrown his way it's hard to tell!
  4. A takeover will have no bearing on a points deduction. We'll be deducted points based on what has already happened. A takeover isn't like a stadium sale, you can't just backdate it and pretend everything is OK and hope for the best. Can we please, as a fanbase, stop talking about Chansiri and/or his family dying? There were comments about his family drowning in Venice among other similarly despicable comments. This is football ffs.
  5. Theyve shown loyalty to the club AND the fans which is why they've stayed. Plus no one else is going to pay them anywhere near £350k. No one is walking away from that.
  6. We've got a useless owner that has ruined us and finally appears to want to get rid of us, a manager that wants to be anywhere except Hillsborough even to the point of applying for a job at our rivals club (which is completely unforgivable), an entire squad that doesnt want to be here (understandable) , and an entire workforce that surely doesn't want to be here (understandable - who wants to work for free?!). It's just embarrassing. Literally no one wants anything to do with the club. I'm not sure new owners can even be trusted - how are we supposed to trust "businessmen" that have concluded that buying us is a good idea?!
  7. Att knows us fans check who he follows as a way of finding info on signings. It's been a "thing" forever. He knew full well it would be noticed and would get a reaction.
  8. Slightly nervous about Bannan not signing. I'd be suprised if he manages more than 25 games next season but those 25 games will be key to keeping us up
  9. The year 2000 doesn't feel that long ago, but in perspective 2050 sounds a lifetime away. I can't believe we got less than 22k in the Premiership, was anyone there that day?
  10. Wtf that must have been before my time. Do you have a link?
  11. Let's not get excited. A Saudi is a responsible for the most embarrassing premiership season of all time. There's a massive difference between a rich Saudi and a RICH Saudi.
  12. It's because it's one of us pretending to be a Sunderland fan. A bit like when the Pitsmoor fella called RS pretending to be his brother, a Man City fan, and talked about how big we were
  13. And therein lies the problem. We'll be be bringing in players on a couple grand a week, and the likelihood is they'll have big mortgages and expensive cars because they are footballers. While I doubt theyll be living paycheck to paycheck, a late wage can still have a huge impact financially.
  14. Err.. This stat suggests the complete opposite. He's consistently getting it wrong and has to change everything to rescue points. I'm not sure it's a stat to be proud of. Röhl is way out of his depth, hasn't a clue how to set the team up, and ends up panicking, relying on long balls in to the box or a bit of magic from Gassama to get us out of trouble.
  15. I've no idea what Hall is like but I can't imagine it's any worse than our commentators on iFollow or whatever it is. It's like a couple of grandads that have supported us since the 70s, it's quite embarrassing.
