  1. Always winds me up when one of our own go down 'injured' during extra time. It doesn't help because the ref' extends the time anyway and the other team gets a rest and re-grouos so they can come at you again, and usually, as Birmingham did last night, the other team scores. Just play the extra minutes and get off the pitch. Peterborough did it against us in the miracle and Palmer scored, Palmer goes down last night and Birmingham score !
  2. It goes hand in hand with these graphs, but I've always said that the teams with the worst negative goal difference are nearly always the ones that end up in the bottom three. Equally those with the best postive goal difference get promoted. You start reducing your negative goal difference and lifting above the otheres, your blue bars will go up !
  3. No we shouldn't. If we buy tickets (and shirts etc.) he might have enough money to keep running the club on a shoe string from month to month, surprising staff and players with and without a pay packet each month, and without adding investment to any other part of the club. If you buy a ticket you're buying into his hand to mouth regime which is unsustainable !
  4. Someone messaged Football Heaven last night to say 'if we don't go to the Leeds game we're taking funding away from the club when it needs it most to pay the staff and players wages' ! Rob Staton had the perfect reply... 'you're missing the point, if DC needs the income from a mid week second round cup game to pay the wages, and if fans don't go then the staff and palyers don't get paid, then that is wholly unacceptable as it's unsustaianble and he's not capabale of funding the club properly'. I'd add to that, what if we don't get to the next round and the round after that... does that make it OK not to pay the wages because we haven't got any extra revenue streams ?!!
  5. It's in pencil, you could just rub it out !
  6. It's just ******** garbage, as all the kits this year... DC: How can we pay half price this year for 3 new kit designs ? Macron: Well Ok, we can do them for half price but we'll have to grab the blind tramp from under the flyover to design them. DC: OK, can they operate the software ? Macron: Well, we sacked him in the 90's but he knows his way around Clipart. DC: Thats OK, we still use that system too !
  7. ... except the trim is pink and black not red (not that that makes it any better like) !
  8. Just plain lilac would've been fine. I'm sick of these gash patterns in the fabric. Last years zig zag in the stripes was crap too !
  9. Not sure we'll be permitted to ware that against Leicester anyway as it's a bit close to blue, so I suspect we'll be in the Orange kit anyway. Don't get too near pitch side though beacause it's not been washed since last season because we haven't paid the water bill or the laundry staff !
  10. I've come round to this line of thought now, and the fact that the club will probably cover it up so you can't see his name linked with the closure of the stand !
  11. With the Northstand now likely to be closed for the first home game, can we now organsie blue bags to be paced over the whte Chansiri seats ? That would look great on the TV.
  12. DR has done absolutley nothing wrong in accpeting the payment off DC to terminate his contract. Almost eveyone who is employed in any job is due a payment if they are made redundant or asked to leave imeadatley without working thier notice period. All the management jobs DR could have gained have now gone by and he is going to have to wait until someone sacks thier manager early in to the season, so I would imagine that payment will tide him over until then. The stories are there in abundance, DC is a complete d1ckhead when it comes to negotiations and there are now lots of examples where he has waited until the last minute and then demanded more. He's done it with sponsors, youth player loans and senior player transfers and loans. I have no doubt whatsover that DC has hehaved in the same way over the negotiations for setttlements when approached on the prosepct of DR managing other clubs and they've all told him to do one ! Well now it's back fired on him and instead of getting several million as compo' for DR he's now had to pay his contract off in accordance with the terms of the contract that he gave him, twice ! I'm sick of the bullsh1t being aimed at DR, when not only is he one of the best managers we've ever had but he's the one who's acted with 100% integrity throughout all this, and it took some poroper balls to come back after all that happened. I don't think there are many people out there that would work for very long under DC's regeime or anything similar in any kind of job.
  13. Just to add to this. The reason the EFL were able to disqualify the Reading owner is because he had been convicted of criminal activity, and that isn't the case with Chansiri. The element that worries me is the statement that 'the EFL know how Chansiri is funding the club but were not prepared to say'. It's one of two scenarios here, either Chansiri has the necessary funds and is able to prove that to the EFL, in which case all this latest shananigans is becuase he's just being vindictive and now not putting those funds in or, he's lied to the EFL or his financial situation has changed and he no longer has the funds. In either scenario though he must have now broken some EFL rules or requirements.
  14. My Lovely Horse The melt down during this scene is the best ever !
  15. Our protest #EnoughisEnough has been hijacked by the right wing anti-imigration group. They were using it on banners at the protest at the hotel in Manchester this week, and if you follow the # from anything you put on social media it goes to all kinds of shizzle about that. @SWFC Trust we need to quickly come up with a new common # for everyone to use, otherwise we're going to be misassociated.
  16. 100% agree with this. Having seen everything that's been going on and everythng he's said he loves about the club being ripped apart or pi55ed on (including DR), he should be determined to leave, get his experience as a coach at a well run club and then come back when DC has gone and the Wednesday are rising back !
  17. Nah, I suspect there's going to be a quick recovery from his injury and a return to training as a player coach alongside Pederson now that Danny has gone. I think there's been some dummys spat out when Danny returned. If it was a possibilty I'd have kept Danny and let Bannan go and get his coaching role at Cetlic or somewhere else, but thats just my opinion.
  18. He was already gone weeks ago, he just came back for a kick about with his mates and to say goodbye before he went to Tramlines then on to Milton Keynes.
  19. Apparently we owe Hull money for Wilkes and Norwich money for Akin. Can't help but think there's an arrangement in this that gets rid of those debts. I.E. we release Akin so they can sign him on a free if they write off our debt for Wilks and pay the outstanding monies to Norwich instead of a transfer fee to us.
  20. Well, that's cleared everything up ! WTF is going on ?!!
  21. How can they know there's been a collapse when they don't know that a sale had been agreed. All they know is that there are no new rumors since last week !
  22. It doesn't mean a bloody thing ! It's just click bait from the Star because nothing has emerged since last week... and for that matter the only thing concrete that came out of last week was that more than one party had expressed an interest and one of them had signed something, which was more than likely just the NDA with the broker we now know has been appointed. We don't know why the Gassama deal was held up, but some people assumed it might be to do with the take over, and there is no way a take over is going to go through or be announced just a week and half after the news that a broker has been appointed emerged. You need to assume that any news leaked as far as the press or the fans is at least a couple of weeks in the making, and on that basis it makes perfect sense that Gassama didn't even start the training session at St Georges Park because the deal with Rangers had all but been agreed by then and, that the broker was appointed a month ago and expressions of interest have likely been received and are going through some level of due diligence before a preferred buyer is recommended or selected, all of which ties in with the estimate from the Bizzle that something is likely to go through in August, but fingers crossed it might be sooner if the process is further on than we think. With the NDA's in place we and the press won't know anything more until the all parties agree to announce it !
  23. … plus as is the same with transfers, the news in the press is always some way behind the actual progress being made, so I suspect there were some initial enquiries which wouldn’t dance to DC’s tune, then a consultant was appointed on the insistence of the preferred bidder(s) and that brought in other enquiries, and they are now proceeding with the preferred bidder.
  24. Based on what the Bizzle has said and the fact that some contracts are being signed (and if he hasn’t come back for contractural reasons), and with DR coming back, I suspect a sale with the preferred party is a lot further on than some of these latest stories would lead us to believe.
  25. He doesn’t have the luxury of being able to ferk around. The buyers are in the driving seat because he and the club is on its knees ! It’s sell now for a reasonable price or ferk buyers around and have to sell for a much lower price to the only ones left to buy when the club is over the brink of the edge we currently sit at !
