  1. We’ll be sorting that side of it out, was really overwhelmed with the response from the club. We sent the same message to the “other lot” and never even got a reply so good to know we’re still a community club at heart
  2. With all the doom and gloom and rightful anger against our owner I just wanted to share a nice little story that restored a little bit of faith in our club. I work for a homeless charity and around Christmas we put on activities to give homeless people a bit of a taste of normality and an escape from their issues. Last week I got in touch with the community department asking if they could help out and a lovely lad called Ben has sorted out 10 free tickets for them over the Christmas period. Really surprised me with the generosity and was great to see our club still has great people working for it despite the owner!
  3. Palmer 100%. Second game in a row he’s my MOTM. Committed, a couple of important tackles, two great crosses when switch to RWB, always in the right place, and that block after the back pass mess up saved the game. Great performance!
  4. First post and using it to agree 100%. Byers, Bakinson and Gregory were all a massive improvement on who they replaced today. I like Dele-Bashiru but he looked lost in that midfield, hopefully just an off day and he can step his performance back up going forwards. Vaulks still looks rusty and didn’t seem that comfortable receiving the ball under tight pressure. Think the Charlton press got to both players and Byers and Bakinson looked much more assured when they came on. Credit to Darren Moore for changing things and being brave enough to take off two of his starting midfielders early in the second half. Many managers would’ve waited and just changed one. Right subs at the right time today.
