You're joking, right?
-
? why?
-
exactly. that's why I'd like some comment on football. The other stuff is happening one way or another.
-
name one. I can't.
-
in your opinion. Your derogatory post seems ridiculous as quite a few people agree with me.
-
plenty saying they agree also, or are you just counting the ones you agree with again.
-
did you read the opening post? I said a comment about football.
-
who has said he is?
-
who's on his back? Calm down. I just stated that there should be some comment about the football side of things.
-
why? because you don't agree? I think you missed the point of my opening thread but seem to have the arrogance to belittle people who don't agree with you and see some sense in my post.
-
no body mentioned in depth. just some presence and reassurance.

I assume he must be allowed to address the fans/press before and after matches with regards to the team. I think he owes us some sort of statement as to some clarification or information. Smiley pictures at training but I feel like he's avoiding a situation.
-
I understand that loser who owns us staying quiet but isn't it time that the manager made some sort of statement with regards to the team and his intentions. He may or may not know about potential take over but I'm not asking about that. What's happening football wise.

Long way to go and if we even get there it will be an amazing season but after the last few years it's sods law we'll meet the boys from bumble lane in the playoffs.

Getting fed up with this now. I'm not going to take this Lion down. This thread needs a boost.

The fact that we were in freefall at the start of the season. If we are in the same boat as last season in the summer but in league 1 we might be fighting relegation to league 2 next season. If we keep Röhl and he gets some backing and his own players then mid-table or higher. At least firm consolidation. So yes. We've never been in the fourth tier and the difference between that and solid championship is considerable. Therefore it's very important, potentially one of the most important in our history. The potential is there for the club to die if Chansiri keeps us and we loll about in league 1 or 2.

I'm not saying he's irreplaceable. I'm saying the affect that him going will have is dramatic. Mainly due to poor management of contracts and a lack of foresight. I personally think he'll stay or go back to Germany. He's not the type to leave us in the poo and will want to prove himself. The pull back to Germany and family is a bigger draw than another club in England. In my opinion.

If Röhl moves on that puts us in a scenario like last year. Spend most of summer looking for a manager. An extremely thin squad with upto 20 out of contract. A limited pre-season for cohesion of a new squad and new manager. If he stays we can build. Chris Powell may well be the obvious choice as a replacement and obviously reduces the continuity worry but I think the next few weeks are some of the most important in our history. Can affect the next decade of success or failure. Might sound dramatic but I think it's that important.

Sex and drugs and Danny Rohl.

Catchy!
-
Or.............he could be crap.

Really? Do you think he wants to be our next manager so much that he needs to be bullied into work before he's even agreed terms? Don't think you're being realistic. I've not got any experience of these things in football but I suspect there's more to it than 'Right. Get on with it. We'll sort the details out later.'
-
Not really. A good manager, fit for purpose. I don't think anyone wants a crap manager but some managers know and are good for different situations.
