Nightmare lead! -
I heard Roger on something saying that he found out later Jack didn’t like him personally but couldn’t get shut for a few years because he was banging so many goals in

From the beginning? Well, let's see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it. He took her best summer dress, put it on and went to town.

Ok I gave up on the kop at the Oxford match 15 minutes in the queue at half time and I wasn’t even halfway down it. -
Potentially a -15 could still lead to promotion

Yes, I get that you’re just spitballing ideas around, nobody knows the exact figures but whoever buys us out of administration will be getting a great deal with at least a 75% discount on the business debts accrued by the muppet I feel for the local businesses who are actually owed money for services they’ve provided to a club that they probably love and has shïte on them from a great height -
SWFC to trial new beer token payment process

The answer as many venues have found is to install a commercial bottoms up dispense system Staff can dispense multiple drinks at the same time and greatly reduce the time taken to serve up each order Another thing we’ve been left behind with due to a lack of investment from the chump Sad thing is, it would have paid for itself with all the extra beer they were able to shift -

To save the full £20m you’re talking about they’d have to pay zero pence in the pound to creditors which isn’t going to happen -
The northwest corner would be perfect for trialing a safe standing area when bringing it back into use

Yes, it’s a weird one. He had up to the hearing date to try and get a sale done and at least come away with something before having to go down the admin route Perhaps no one could face dealing with him anymore Anyway, he’s done now and good riddance! We were down anyway so lets hope any more upcoming points deductions come this season and not next

Darryl has been misinformed about current situation with the ground and Sheffield 3, surprised the hosts weren’t informed enough to put him right Chansiri is not a very clever man He’s a man with the reverse Midas touch -

BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
Steaknife replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Creditors won’t let liquidation happen if they want a chance of getting any money back On liquidation employees are let go so no money recouped from player sales The club will no longer exist so there’s no golden EFL share value Other than the EFL share and players what assets does the club have? Stock from the megastore and catering , IT equipment and groundskeepers kit (if it’s not leased) It will go to admin eventually one way or another -
BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
Steaknife replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The tax man is the one allegedly asking for a WUP The tax man won’t then apply for administration as that temporarily protects the company from the tax man’s WUP They might be using a WUP as leverage to get another creditor to apply for administration as that way all creditors including the tax man would have more chance of getting at least some of their money back -
No one? Do you go round sticking your fingers in plug sockets because you were told not to as a kid?

Because it’s just a petition to the court and not an actual winding up order Giving up the boycott helps him pay the bill and the winding up petition would be dismissed before a winding up order was granted Then it’s back to square one with the zombie club lurching from one cash flow squeeze to the next The club has had multiple winding up petitions submitted this century and has never actually had an order granted against it

It will take a couple of months before there’s even a court hearing AFTER a winding up petition has been submitted It’s not even been submitted yet so you’re jumping the gun a bit if you think anything is going to be settled by Wednesday
