  1. it would look good on a fireplace
  2. Just seen this on twitter, that Will Vaulks chant to Gold by Spandau Ballet is absolutely class.
  3. bit of a different one this but i’ve got this written down to Fixing A Hole by the Beatles (the exact part is the last 30 seconds of the song) Georgie Byers stop’s balls from getting in and he’ll send your midfield wandering For some bovril For some bovril
  4. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation? I don’t mind making a comment because it can make for a good discussion I just think making a conversation about why they don’t come out shouldn’t be a talking point if they want to then they can if not then they don’t end of day though it shouldn’t define a conversation and it shouldn’t define a person
  5. if they bleed blood and breathe air then sexual orientation shouldn’t matter its good that being gay isn’t shunned upon like it used to be and its good that people can talk about it but theres not much equality in making it the talking point of conversations
  6. since coming on at Bolton away, he’s been rock solid, one of best players in squad wouldn’t be surprised if Cardiff recalled him, the potential he has is massive
  7. 100% not for the youth but the team still has a good depth to rotate it every now and then when players have progressively better individual performances Bazza runs his legs off and he does it unnecessarily every now and then but the passes and chances he can make at times are quality he’s got a good football brain and theres definitely certain aspects of his game that younger players could learn from its just down to how the game is being played and if the tactics are working for or against a player
  8. fair points that who knows with the coaching stuff though all behind the scenes stuff that so its hard to talk about it without it being speculations if theres one thing that boils my **** though is the fact that we don’t send many players out on loan that often Jaden’s a good example of this because the lad’s got some ability as a left wing back but he never gets game time other than the cup games like you mentioned with development they don’t need playing once every blue moon and then sat on bench for the rest of their time with us if they’re not getting 1st team experience then in my opinion they need sending out on a loan in hopes of them gaining that experience if they come back and it still doesn’t work with them then in theory we could sell them and we get a bit more than what they were worth before we sent them out on a loan
  9. quite debatable this in regards to game time, your right in that aspect, but in my personal opinion, if you’re on loan from a team in the scottish prem for a team at the bottom of division 3, realistically you shouldn’t need much qualities to become a regular in the first place and on paper, there won’t be many quality players at the bottom side of division 3 for him to learn from whereas a side like us will have the competition for the starting 11 spots because we’ve got the goal of promotion, therefore we have the quality and squad depth to match that goal everyone has to start somewhere and i think in fizz’s case at the moment, if he skip’s out on the development and lessons to be had at wednesday, he will set himself back and he won’t get much further, long term wise, and no one else would unless they’re gifted in their footballing abilities or if they manage to be coached by an up and coming manager
  10. easily McGuinness by far been quality since his debut for us at Bolton the best signing of the summer our best defender at the moment and one of our best players at the moment he’s got some serious potential especially for his age my personal favourite of the season so far
  11. For me personally, Dom is a RB and only a RB, he’s got the pace and strength to run up and down wing, but he’s not as defensively aware as, for example, McGuinness or Heneghan to be a CB and never will be, but at the same time I will admit that he’s let himself go since the injuries he’s had Think the best match I’ve watched with Dom in the starting line-up so far this season, was Bolton and in my opinion he looked close to his old self in that match at certain periods Overall I have a soft spot for Dom because of the player he was but if he doesn’t pick himself back up by the end of the season (lets be real it would be stupid to sell him in January when he’s one more option in the defence) then I can see him on his way out
  12. i personally think the lads aren’t organised enough bar bannan theres no one whos commanding the backline or keeps it together when we start to panic i think its also part of the reason why we’re struggling to keep up with plymouth and ipswich at the moment because they’ve looked organised in a majority of their games so far from what i’ve seen
  13. Barmy army
  14. 9/10 times its always a good read if the thread is by maidstone owl i like having a look on other parts of forum but most of its not as active as the matchday part
