  1. Blimey, I saw this thread and thought that I'd gone from seventy to seven in the blink of an eye.
  2. A very small part of the problem. The major cause of the problem was the selling of multi year season tickets, that I first called out in May 2018, and that has allowed Chansiri to get to where he is now. So anyone that has bought a multi year season ticket needs to think twice before ostracising those (I'm not one) that are pouring a relatively few pennies into the coffers now. My only surprise is that it took so long to get here.
  3. I think it stinks of decisiveness. Didn't one of their owners say that the key to success is to recognise failure quickly and act on it? (or something to that effect) If only Chansiri had the nous to take difficult decisions in a timely manner instead of saying that he can't sell part of the family it's just possible that we wouldn't be in the mess that we're in now.
  4. Absolutely spot on, and this is what people don't seem to understand.
  5. I said about five weeks ago that Chansiri might decide that he doesn't want to sell and people laughed I also said this week that the trust are doing themselves no favours in not attending the fan engagement meeting with Chansiri unless they can set the agenda, and people laughed again. I think that I understand exactly what is going on in Chansiri's mind and if he succeeds in managing the cash flow he'll still be here at this time next year and we'll be in League One. Now that the bill payments are up to date he has committed no offences that the EFL or a new regulator can remove him for. The ONLY way to remove him is to completely cut off the cash flow. Laugh again if you want, but it's no laughing matter!
  6. They are in no position to set the agenda or the terms. Would be much better to turn up, let him ramble on for a few hours and dig himself into a deeper hole than the one that he's already in. By avoiding the meeting they're damaging their own case as any neutral observer will see that they were invited but declined to attend.
  7. No pressure on Chansiri, He'll just say "I invited them but they declined to come" which will be the truth. Actually works in his favour if anything
  8. Hopelessly optimistic. They may as well just have said "thanks for the invite but we're not coming" as there's no way that they will be allowed to set the agenda.
  9. The ground and the satisfaction of knowing that he's won the battle against all those nasty Wednesday fans.
  10. If Chansiri continues to pay wages and bills on time what exactly do you think the regulator can do? More likely to give Chansiri a certificate of merit for a well run club than to remove him for having a rubbish team. The ONLY way Chansiri goes is if the cash runs out again!
  11. You may well find that the club appeal that refund as they have fulfilled their side of the bargain by sending the ticket that you ordered. Every chance that your refund will be reclaimed.
  12. New owners? Have I missed something whilst I've been looking the other way?
  13. I think the closure notice was put on because parts of the roof in particular had so much muck and rubbish on that the structure couldn't be properly inspected. I've heard that a fair amount of tidying up work has taken place and a proper inspection can therefore be made now. The stand was never in imminent danger of collapse but you can't give a sefety certificate for something that you can't see properly.
  14. My guess is that he already has one for more than £7k a week which is why we couldn't register ir, and now we can
  15. And that's why I don't think that he'll sell the club. This time next year he'll have a club that's much cheaper to run in league one and he'll be saying to himself "I've won again, those idiot supporters haven't a clue"
