Charles has shoulder injury, said to be near on 3 months before would be available. Horvath has had a couple of poor games but equally has improved and done well in last two games. Charles is better at distribution and more comfortable on ball. We have not been good in the air at back and extra height of Horvath has helped in this respect. Defence have definitely improved in fact we looked good on Saturday compared with most of last season including when Beadle was in team. Could be down to coaching or having experienced keeper has it helped defence? In view of circumstances ver difficult to say. It must be difficult for the lads in u/18 age and u/21 age groups. It helps if you are playing in a settled team so you can get to know colleagues and establish pattern of play. Some of these guys involved in u/18, u/21 and first team games. Hence why I think results have been indifferent focus has rightly been given to first team. Yes you need core talent to develop. I do not know about younger age groups at club, just hope we have more good ones coming through. It would be nice to see promising players arising every season. We look to have superior team to United at u/18 level which is about time they have done very well at producing players so it shows talent is out there. It is only good news at present.

I did not watch game today as what not aware it was broadcast until it was over. He does play similar position. Personally have liked performances of Emery Thornton and Johnson in league Cup games. Somebody is doing a very good job at Academy.

I had not read your comment about Kay and Ridge. I was speaking to someone who said they expected Ridge to follow Grainger and Alao into u/21. Kay was rated very highly before he had injury which impacted him last year, hope he is on way back to his best.

Think Mudd has had positive influence team looked more cohesive today. Also the team looked fitter than in some of earlier games this season.

He can pass the ball which is a help as it takes pressure of Bannan. With Amass, Weaver, Brown and Cadamateri very young side and they all played very well. Fusire also ok when he came on.

Did well, but was helped by very good performances from Iorfa and Lowe. Looked a much better unit at back than we have had in some games.

Thought, Cadamateri and Brown were very good and certainly should keep place. Energy and effort were excellent. Think Inglesson deserves mention as well as thought they all combined well together. Always posed a threat when breaking.

I can see your point. I took the decision not to go to games. However think I would not go now to them as it looks hopeless cause and can not see any future. No one interested in buying us those that were have been buggered about by the ogre and others were just Walters or tyre kickers. DC incapable of doing anything and too proud to ask those he showed his arse to earlier in year. Club is just left to rot. I for long time was optimistic but that has vanished. Unfortunately lots who have voted with feet during this period will not come back, they will have got out of habit of attending games.
