  1. Said in another thread that we were poor all over the pitch today. He was on another level today and I'm tired of defending him and waiting for him to actually perform. He looked completely lost out there, didn't know where the ball was, couldn't find his feet and is incapable of any sort of hold up play. So very poor.
  2. Even by our own standards, this is the worst we have played this season. I'm surprised, because I thought we'd be well rested and ready to go. We haven't competed anywhere on the pitch. It's a tough day to be an Owl but in the grand scheme of things, who cares? It's a shallow victory for them.
  3. Beans. Baked beans. You know, I see people at work go to the canteen, get their beans format meal and they eat those beans while sat, just casually talking to their colleagues. It was an orange affair Those beans over there Their jacket spuds Canteen duds The lips on you Rang orange Beans
  4. 2-1 win for us. Lowe - worldie, right foot, top corner from just outside the box around 20th minute. Ugbo - goal on 85th minute. I have foreseen it. Don't eat beans in front of people.
  5. I won't eat beans in public and I find eggs embarrassing.
  6. Depends on his fitness levels. If he's up to speed, I would absolutely be putting him in there.
  7. I hope we don't but I do think it could depend on which new owners we get. If the potential is there for a truly exciting rebuild where he is guaranteed first team football and a very decent contract, PL football might not be so appealing if he just sits on the bench.
  8. Lost? I'm not sure I'd go that far mate. Think he's actually done a really good job in midfield and doesn't look out of place there at all. I think any problems could be put down to fatigue. We need back up in there.
  9. Wait, has Bamford signed for the Piggies? I am so out of the loop at the moment. That's a signing that smells a bit of porky desperation.
  10. Not even at his best. Taped up, fatigued and still giving his all. He will be the one who benefits most from the two week break. I hope he comes back fresh as a daisy and ready to cause havoc.
  11. Cooper, Whatmore and Rinomhota would all be excellent, proven players in our current predicament.
  12. I tried to make this point the other day. The starting 11 we have is okay but fatigue has well and truly set in. 2-3 half decent free agents until the end of the season An addition in midfield, an addition in defence, perhaps the EFL allows us one more? Who knows. But the ability to rotate and rest tired legs would be invaluable. Plus, the hope that a few of the others come back from injury. I don't think we'll stay up but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we have a decent run at some point in the season and put some wins together.
  13. I think we will. New owners coming in have to have a plan and the finances. I suspect that will include contingency planning for an instant promotion back up to the Championship. Also, I think that a fully backed Pedersen will have us finishing top of the league. He's already over-achieving with the current squad.
  14. I hope he isn't too downhearted and sees the potential in our club. I want him front and centre when it comes to our League One push. I just hope he sticks around for it because I think he can do great things here, with the right backing.
