    Exactly. And with all the yapping on here, it would be easier for the club just to announce anyone and everyone as new signings. The new Urby, Abdi and Bakinsons… I’m still confident we’ll sign 2 or 3 who will massively improve the first XI.

    There was a good bit of banter between Palmer and the fans at that end for most of the game. It’s a shame one moron just had to take it down another route. Fan should be banned for life, which should be enough.

    I agree he needs to go, but he definitely wasn’t the worst out there today. I’d give that accolade today to Bannan. That sliding tackle just before their first, and yet more hopeless loopy crosses.

    This ref is an absolute ballbag. I don’t normally advocate violence against a ref, but where’s Di Canio these days?

    We have plenty of big lads in outle squad that can easily win headers. I think our key is just to not have Bannan take them. Especially outswinging ones.

    Genuine question, but given the money Ipswich have been throwing about, how come they are not falling foul of P&S rules?

    I could see Windass behaving in a similar fashion to Steven Fletcher. Not so much Marvin, especially given the way he worked so hard to get in the squad under Röhl.

    I’d argue they’re both better than all the teams currently in the bottom half of the premier league.

    I would choose anyone but England. There’s nothing more than the English media than to build up a player, only to then harass and knock them back down again.

    Looks like the supercomputer needs what our squad has had. Some German engineering!

    Smith/Gregory totally slow our attacking play down. They don’t have the pace to get in behind defenders nor get in the box when our other pacy wingers get forward. A successful forward line is only as good as its slowest forward. Fletcher isn’t exactly ideal, but is now a better option than both Gregory and Smith.

    Excellent news. Avoids the dreaded curse and also keeps Herr Röhl out of the spotlight.
