With England hosting Wales this evening is there anybody else apart from me miss the Home Championship? I totally acknowledge the point about fixture congestion but would love to see this return in a new format played over 2 seasons using the current friendly slots available.

As always, I’m just happy that we are fulfilling our fixtures as it looked like we might not have be able to do that early on. I would love us to get a result, even a point will do but just can’t see it. Conversely, the worse we do the better it is. If we were to have another miracle recovery it may give hope to dc and think he has found a way to run a club on a shoestring

What is the attendance?

It feels like the only numbers we are worried about tonight is the attendance figure. the score is almost irrelevant tonight, we have no expectations due to our squad and injuries. for me, I’d like to see anything under 10,000, and the further below that the better. in a normal season there would be 25k+ for a dirty Leeds match in a midweek cup match, to see a fraction of that would be a real message to he who shall not be named.

my mate is working there for sky tonight. he said it is hopefully easier to position and rig the cameras due to the expected lower turnout

i don't think points will be an issue this season.... as for fines, i don't know enough about the rules, but it would be crazy if a fine to the club was what put us under....

disrupt matches by all means, but we can't go too far by getting matches abandoned/postponed/cancelled. we are a bad payday away from not fulfilling fixtures anyway so we don't need to give the efl an excuse. anything like the tennis balls/teddies/whistles that halt play for a while is good but don't give the referee or police an excuse to stop a match.
