I think most of the players are going to effectively refuse to play by handing in their notices and leaving, and you can't expect the youth team to take a stand and go on strike. If we want matches abandoned we're going to have to do it ourselves.

Chansiri may have told a half truth? E.g. Röhl tries to use Soton interest as leverage : "I'll stay, if you back me" Chansiri says no. Röhl then says, "OK, I'll go to Soton then" Chansiri says no. Chansiri thinks he's done no wrong and expects Röhl come to him on bended knee asking for other cheaper targets, but instead Röhl stops asking for signings because he doesn't think he's going to get the targets he wants.
