  1. All I've seen from The Wednesday Week recently is that he needs to go. How is that different to anyone else's stance? Previously noone has been allowed to record or broadcast, even the journalists at fans forums were t allowed, so don't think you can blame lack of reporting on them. Rob Station works for the BBC so if local journos are allowed then the BBC will be there. The WTID podcast have had much bigger issues than choosing not be political.
  2. So because I say we should be reasonable and allow the staff who have worked in this poo show without paying for months time off like everyone else I must work there? I don't work, and have never worked, for the club. But I do work for an organisation where I've had occasion to contact MPs and secretaries and I've never gotten a response same day.
  3. It's not about replying to an email though is it? Those demands need planning and organisation and can't necessarily be done in less than a full working day even if DC was inclined to agree. We know he won't but it just seems silly to not set realistic timeframes.
  4. The statement says that local journalists should be invited. We really saying the WTID folks have better kit than the BBC? Also, I appear to have missed the bit where other social media outlets said they were Chansiri in - can you point me at those please?
  5. The club staff are entitled to take the bank holiday though and when they get to work on Tuesday morning this doesn't give them much time to discuss, make arrangements and respond.
  6. Are they though? Who decided that the WTID podcast should be the broadcast partner for the Trust? Did the Trust consult with the other fan groups before making these demands? Why the short deadline? Given that Monday is a bank holiday and accounting for the time difference it doesn't give the people at the club much time to discuss, arrange and respond.
  7. Agreed. But the stated aim of the protests is not to generate publicity, it's to refund the owner. This doesn't do that. Added to which, after all the media saying how great our fans are for following the club even at this troubled time a completely empty away end would grab their attention even more.
  8. Brilliant article Joe, not ashamed to admit it made me cry. Fingers crossed we are nearing the end of this nonsense.
  9. They probably didn't know who the sponsor was when the kit was designed tbf
  10. That's your prerogative of course IMO there's enough negative news around without fans making up more
  11. I know we're all upset but spreading misinformation won't help. Shirts get designed several months in advance of launch so the 3rd shirt absolutely will have gone through design and production phases. There are lots of great people at the club who work under difficult circumstances, many of them will have been working on the shirt and the launch for some time. Chansiri might be the man in charge for now but he isn't the entire club.
  12. Ah, hadn't realised that. Assumed it was licensing like in art and photography where they had already paid a fee to use the trademarks and kept money from sales.
  13. You can get a remake of the green one (licensed and official) from the Terrace https://theterracestore.com/collections/sheffield-wednesday/products/sheffield-wednesday-97-away-retro-shirt-pre-order-2?variant=55086759805307 I bought the orange one from here last year, quality is decent although the material is not as thick as the original from what I recall
  14. Of course. But they were chosen because they had history. The Hollywood A-lister could have bought 20 clubs more convenient to travel to than Wrexham, but he understands the power is in the story and you don't get that without history. If we had someone who understood this and were marketed correctly we absolutely could get some big commercial deals.
  15. Yeah, history is pointless. Definitely haven't heard anything about Wrexham being the oldest club in Wales or having the oldest stadium or owt like that. In all seriousness, history is more important than ever in the current football trends. How many teams are doing retro style kits, one off things with old badges, legends tours etc etc?
