  1. I'd like to see us do a reasonable half season ticket (maybe at early bird ST prices) this season but then have offers to get the next set of fans to be ST holders as we hopefully go on to better times. Whether that's cheaper tickets, monthly direct debit schemes, better packages for the season tickets or a bit more creativity. It's a different model but a few of the bands I follow do a preorder for an album before it's even made and by getting on board early you get an exclusive t-shirt or art print. We could easily do something like this so ST holders feel like they've got something a bit special. You see other clubs where season ticket holders receive a package in the post with scarves or pens or whatever and a little note. We get a plastic card and a paper fixture list that's already out of date when it arrives. I've also long thought that we should do super cheap kids tickets, regardless of the type or match. It makes it so much easier to bring your family, especially when kids want stuff from the shop, food etc, if the ticket price is cheap for them.
  2. Pretty sure that everything except the intro was a pre-existing video we've seen on big occasions (remember it being played Vs Peterborough for example). Would explain the lack of recent images, the team have only had 24 hours to put it together and the intro graphic would be easy to add on.
  3. Loads of champ and prem teams do loans with obligations to buy. Depending on the player and conditions (we'd want to be careful to avoid an Ugbo Mark II ) this could be a good option if used sparingly.
  4. Whoever the new owner is if they have a plan players will join in League One for a bash at double promotion. We've seen that with Ipswich, Birmingham and Wrexham just in the last couple of seasons.
  5. All I've seen from The Wednesday Week recently is that he needs to go. How is that different to anyone else's stance? Previously noone has been allowed to record or broadcast, even the journalists at fans forums were t allowed, so don't think you can blame lack of reporting on them. Rob Station works for the BBC so if local journos are allowed then the BBC will be there. The WTID podcast have had much bigger issues than choosing not be political.
  6. So because I say we should be reasonable and allow the staff who have worked in this poo show without paying for months time off like everyone else I must work there? I don't work, and have never worked, for the club. But I do work for an organisation where I've had occasion to contact MPs and secretaries and I've never gotten a response same day.
  7. It's not about replying to an email though is it? Those demands need planning and organisation and can't necessarily be done in less than a full working day even if DC was inclined to agree. We know he won't but it just seems silly to not set realistic timeframes.
  8. The statement says that local journalists should be invited. We really saying the WTID folks have better kit than the BBC? Also, I appear to have missed the bit where other social media outlets said they were Chansiri in - can you point me at those please?
  9. The club staff are entitled to take the bank holiday though and when they get to work on Tuesday morning this doesn't give them much time to discuss, make arrangements and respond.
  10. Are they though? Who decided that the WTID podcast should be the broadcast partner for the Trust? Did the Trust consult with the other fan groups before making these demands? Why the short deadline? Given that Monday is a bank holiday and accounting for the time difference it doesn't give the people at the club much time to discuss, arrange and respond.
  11. Agreed. But the stated aim of the protests is not to generate publicity, it's to refund the owner. This doesn't do that. Added to which, after all the media saying how great our fans are for following the club even at this troubled time a completely empty away end would grab their attention even more.
  12. Brilliant article Joe, not ashamed to admit it made me cry. Fingers crossed we are nearing the end of this nonsense.
  13. They probably didn't know who the sponsor was when the kit was designed tbf
  14. That's your prerogative of course IMO there's enough negative news around without fans making up more
  15. I know we're all upset but spreading misinformation won't help. Shirts get designed several months in advance of launch so the 3rd shirt absolutely will have gone through design and production phases. There are lots of great people at the club who work under difficult circumstances, many of them will have been working on the shirt and the launch for some time. Chansiri might be the man in charge for now but he isn't the entire club.
