  1. Already looking forward to it! I do prefer games with many goals as long we have at least one more than the others.
  2. We won't be able to keep him, but we can make the most of our current situation. a) We just use him this season to get us out of this league, but will have to let him go afterwards FOC b) We sell him now and get some cash in, but won't have him for the promotion fight I'm happy with both options. (Best option would be, if he signed a contract extension, but I can't see that right now)
  3. @Sheff Cam Thanks a lot for the video! Hope you put a nightshift in to provide the game review.
  4. Yes, but many people here already discuss a change of system and ask for tinkering only to have a reason to complain about it afterwards
  5. ManU managed a draw against Rayo Vallecano yesterday. Any comments?
  6. Why can't we get an owner, who fires the manager after every draw? Why do we have those horrible gap between the transfer windows, which stops us to renew our squad after every draw or loss?
  7. I won because I have been supporting the England national teams since 2010. (Never watched a German team live, but watched England several times at Wembley. Haven't watched a German game since 2010 on TV unless they played England) (even my German boss said that I am not allowed into work, if England wins as he can't bear my grinning face)
  8. I do agree with you. It's doable. Also you suggestion using the U23 route sounds good. IMO it won't work to take a manager from a female team and put her to a male team. As you mentioned before, it has to be the right person. Being able to handle a group of females requires a different personality and skillset than handling a group of males.
  9. For me that's not the issue with females in a male dressing room. I just don't believe that the players (young, rich, alpha-males, adolescing) will accept a female as leader. I also don't believe that the fanbase would accept it. Let's talk again in 30 years
  10. We can't mess around with our back three all the time. Therefore, let's agree on our starting defenders for the next five games. As I'm not prepared to change the system right now, please choose THREE players. DM might read Owlstalk and follow our advice!
  11. Don't think it would work.
  12. We praise him now, but he got a lot of stick beginning of last season as well.
  13. I do like Stockdale and Dawson and have no preference so far. However, as DM declared that both have the same status and have to fight for their place in the starting eleven, wouldn't three goals conceded automatically mean that the other one gets his opportunity in the next game? (regardless, who's to blame for the goals) That's an open question. I do not know the answer myself (yet)
  14. - We signed the players for 352 - We trained in pre-season for 352 - We did very well in the second part of last season And now people are suggesting to ditch this systems AFTER ONE GAME??? Are you serious??
  15. Welcome back Milord! Wonderful OMDT! What a great start of the day and season. Happy Birthday @Prendo's boots
  16. Yes, it's petulance. Does he have to settle for the consequences for his actions? - Yes, I think so. That's just the way live is. People can't be forced to forgive you and people can't be force to do business with other people. Actions have consequences - like it or not.
  17. The way the club dealt with the refunds was wrong and illegal. Therefore I understand, if people sue the club! I would never behave like the club and withhold peoples money, but unfortunately I am not forgiving, so I know, that I would not be able to forgive legal actions against me. If I would feel the need to sue somebody, I would never want to do any business with them and also would not expect, that they would ever do business with me Where is the contradiction?
  18. I was replying to somebody who tried to paint a picture, how poor the guy might have been. Please read the full chat to get my point.
  19. I fully agree with you . It's petulant and unnecessary. And I did not defend the club, but I also can't glorify or pity anybody, who is suing the club and starting a press campaign against it. As I said.. I would struggle myself to forgive anybody, who would take legal actions against me. Looks like many of you are more forgiving, which is a good character trait.
  20. I don't say that the club's actions were right. I also agree that the bloke can sue the club, if he want. I just say it's wrong to pull the pity number here!
  21. Thanks.. I always forget that we have piggish visitors
