Everyone knows that “owning” a club is something other than owning anything else. A club is a community, when communities are trapped under tyrants, they remove them themselves. The rules of private ownership make this impossible. There needs to be a legal distinction between an owner a company and whatever you are when you buy your way into leading a community.

I’d not be surprised if a big chunk of those that go to the stadium had little or no idea about what Chansiri had done over the last 10 years until recently, and hadn’t heard of the Trust until this week. As a mainstream message spreading device, the internet is an illusion.

If they want this to happen it needs to be plastered all over the place - not just posted on the internet. It should be impossible to move in Sheffield without seeing a poster for the boycott for the next 3 weeks. Solidify the event in people’s mind - remove any question.

In American Football this is the norm. Neither New York City NFL team even plays within state lines, let alone New York City. They play wherever there’s space so their stadiums can be dystopian lakes of car park concrete.
