Wish the German system could work here. Find a table. Get served. Mark the beers on a beermat. Politely get attention for a refill. Pay for your drinks before you leave. I loved it over there rather than sharp elbows big belly competitions to get served.

The idea of him having wasted more money on 3 players than we've spent in 25 years will be totally wasted on him and the brainless pigs. Since Rhodes, how much have we spent and how much have they spent? -

RS: So Chris, the derby coming up, how are you approaching the game? CW: Last year, we got the better of them at their place and we'll be hoping for a repeat, give our fans the bragging rights. We've been the better side for some years with spells in the Premier League whilst they've spent time in league one, all whilst I've been manager here. RS: Given the difference between your squad values, do you feel the pressure to win? CW: Not at all. It's a derby and things like that go out of the window. It's all about the passion, who wants to win on the day and I'll be setting the team up to go in with the right mentality to come out on top, like I did last year. RS: Do you feel United have underperformed this season and would a win against Wednesday go some way to putting things right? CW: Beating your rivals, it means a lot to the fans. Even after almost 25 years of being the better side, Wednesday fans still see themselves as superior and it's nice to remind them that United have had multiple promotions to the Premier League whilst after splashing the cash, they still didn't succeed. I've won at Hillsborough twice now and hopefully, we'll make it a hattrick. RS: Are the playoffs looking far off after the start United have had? CW: Since my return, we've picked up 10 points but our start has made thing a big challenge. We lost key players in the summer and I wasn't part of the recruitment. The players haven't met the standards I expect and the transfer window can't come soon enough to address this. If we continue to improve and results turn in our favour, it's not beyond us. Can we expect shîte like this from King Pig? -

Well, he can't play the big wage, expensive player por squad value cards. We are the underdogs in this. -
Great post and it definitely brought a tear or two. As I said in another post, it's not just a football club, it's our roots, our shared history, our community. I'd love us to win but tonight is about us coming together and celebrating the fact we still have our club and that our future could look very bright, very soon.

Have you ever doubted a new signing from day 1?
Howmanyowls replied to WimJunk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This. I looked at his stats and in the previous years, they were crap. How much has that cost us in the end for fees and wages? He was spent. -

I didn't see someone had already posted. There are clearly plenty of people who think he's completely useless.

Classy message from Henrik
Howmanyowls replied to Rolls Royce Nilsson's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The fact we haven't been getting battered every week and actually picked points up has impressed me. I'd give him this season and next. -
STARTING team V Middlesbrough might have to be..?
Howmanyowls replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
We are down to bare bones already and it's not even November. Thanks Chansiri, you two hat wearing runt of a brother clucker. Impaled by an angry tuna named Brian would be a fair ending. -
I think if they accept 3rd this season from where they are and he gets decent backing, he's capable of winning them the title and turning the tide of Celtic dominance. Will he get enough time is another question but I think he has the ability to do it. Still young. Will make mistakes. I cannot believe some views of Wednesday fans. How many managers /coaches do we think would have come in after Xisco and kept us up? And in spite of our chairman, manage a comfortable 12th? Rant all you want, but only idiots can argue against those facts under the circumstances he worked.

Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
Howmanyowls replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'm indefinitely boycotting till he goes so of course I'm supporting this. I'll return when he goes and put some cash in the coffers. -
I had relatives over who wanted to go to a game so I went to the Middlesbrough game. I wore a yellow fishermans coat and we all stood up and turned around on 10 mins in protest. I agreed to it partly as I wanted to say thanks to Danny for what he did for us and I expected it to be the last opportunity to watch us under him. I won't go to another game till he leaves and if we get forward thinking owners, I will attend as often as possible.
