My entire point in this thread is what has changed recently to put the club in immediate danger. This is something he's always done. Then a couple of days later, it turns up on the tax website as paid and the staff are paid in full.

Did he pay the players and tax bill? Is he still putting in extra funding? Are the season tickets a POS system provider issue? Simple yes/no answers please.

The money in the budget still needs to come from somewhere. If there's 10p in the budget, it needs to be funded. Same as 10m. It is still an expense that either has to be funded or something else needs to be cut to fund it.
