  1. Shhh I was hoping no one would notice I was buying them for a gift for the north stand when the get the hot water sorted
  2. ..but this is too far, even for me
  3. Mine's just arrived. Very impressed with quality but if you're a fat lad like me go at least two sizes up
  4. All I could hear - watching it on tv- (apart from them cheering when they scored) was 'we don't care about dejphon' being sung on repeat. I don't think anyone could be in any doubt about which way the wind is blowing now.
  5. Hows that appeal for unity going Neil?
  6. So glad he missed the last penalty - whining c*nt
  7. i think the timing of their first goal killed a lot of the momentum for protest. As soon as it went in, people defaulted to the "get behind the lads" attitude (not that I'm saying there's anything fundamentally wrong with that but frustrating given the current circumstances).
  8. This. We all hate chansiri and hope his next poo is a hedgehog BUT we've been complaining for years as a fan base about giving injury prone players big contracts - doesn't seem that unreasonable to me to offer a very injury prone player a reduced contract especially given the financial uncertainty at the time.
  9. Just seen this on FB..
  10. Nothing more to add other than to say that listening to the public meeting the other day and reading this letter, how grateful I am personally to have the trust fighting our corner.
  11. The chansiri family undoubtedly are though
  12. Rich people doing rich people things. Why is anyone surprised?
  13. Not saying you're wrong or right (like any of us know?), but I dont think ****siri is remotely interested in charming or appealing to the fans anymore. Years of supplication from certain sectors of our fan-base (and indifference from the rest) have shown him that we'll buy and attend regardless of how dire things get. Why would it be any different now?
  14. Thought the same thing when we were relegated from the prem.."what we need is a reset, go down, rebuild, come back stronger.." That er, didn't work out reight well
  15. Fully endorse and support this course of action but you just know they'll be some 'fans' moaning that the trust is depriving the club of money when it needs it the most.
  16. Is this on the level? It just popped up on my FB feed and it seems a bit suss?
  17. This I'm afraid sums up why we're in the state we are. This from the Facebook Star comments comments section that has FIVE likes
  18. I didn't say it WAS anything to do with Trump
  19. Much of what Chansiri and his acolytes do is straight out of the Trump/MAGA playbook. The similarities are quite clear.
  20. Yep it will just be a repeat of when Moore left - there are still people out there happy to parrot Chansiri's line about him demanding extortionate wages even now knowing what an inveterate liar out chairman is.
  21. Of course I'm a united fan, dolt
  22. Past experience? Apart from Joao, when have we sold a player for a profit in the last ten years? Or do you believe Chansiri has learned from the past and will start selling players for good money while they're on the up?
  23. The other day the Star ran a story about Hutchinson's time here and his relationship with Chansiri. One of the first comments was from someone bemoaning the star running a 'negative' story, saying something along the lines of "couldn't wait to stick the boot in while we're still on a high from signing the Japanese lad". High? High? Is that how low our expectations have dropped as a fan base that signing a free player after the close of the transfer window has closed counts as a high? I'm starting to feel incredibly fatigued by the whole thing honestly. Stupid comments like this on line, apathy, open hostility towards demonstrating. They say football fans get the owners they deserve - the inescapable conclusion is that in the main, Wednesday fans have exactly the owner they deserve.
  24. They'll probably be more appetite for protests now yes. I just wish we could break this cycle of protests being linked with the lack of incoming transfers. The transfer activity (or lack there of) is just a symptom of his bad management.
