  1. A mistake would be spelling Oxford wrong or a letter wrong in the postcode. How can you mistake them for an entirely different club? That’s not a mistake, it’s an embarrassment.
  2. Think it’s more than just his ability on the pitch, he’s obviously someone who keeps spirits in the dressing room high and does a lot for charity in and out of the club. Losing more than just a good player but also obviously a top top bloke.
  3. Not sure what’s covered in the NDA they signed etc so I won’t name the group. The fact they had to sign an NDA for a zoom call is absolutely absurd for one either way.
  4. Part of one of the groups that were involved in the meeting and let’s just say there’s a lot more support for DC creeping back in judging by the messages in the chat today. I won’t say anymore.
  5. Just hope as fans we’re patient and realise next season is a building job for potential promotion the year after. We have to trust him.
  6. Very nearly didn’t. I’d been on nights all week and was 50/50 about just not turning up, texted the old man and he was the same, I replied ‘it’s either going to be the worst night or the best let’s just go’. Turned up at the railway about 5, a strange buzz in the air, people laughing and joking about the situation, same buzz felt walking down towards ground, not one sad face, people going with intent. Got in to the fanzone for a quick one before heading in, hear hey Jude ringing out round Hillsborough, there’s an actual atmosphere, I can’t describe it but it felt weird, people knew. Got in to the T1 on the back of DM’s screen message to the almighty roar and that weird feeling just got stronger. The roar after the huddle and the ‘come on’ roars after each goal, each tackle, each corner won. I got home about 1am (Doncaster) and I didn’t sleep a wink that night, I went to the bathroom about 5am and my pupils were like the black snooker ball from pure adrenaline. Don’t get signal in Hillsborough either and to walk out to hundreds of messages in my group chats, work and other football fans, dozens of messages on Facebook. I can never properly articulate everything I felt that night, never been one for putting emotions in to words, but the entire night blew me away. How lucky are we?
  7. Where’s this perception that they have a big fanbase come from? They’re absolutely bang average. Half their ground had seats removed and it was still half empty. They’re awful.
  8. It’s actually a bit sad reading this thread. The idea that nothing good could ever happen to us because we’re Sheffield Wednesday.
  9. The finish aswell, most players would’ve gone for the near post where the keeper was diving and hope they put enough power on it to find the net before the keeper got there. To send it back over a diving keeper across goal was clever.
  10. I reckon we’ll be second in away averages aswell behind Leeds. Look forward to seeing the end of season stats.
  11. After hushing the Wednesday fans. Absolutely fantastic
  12. No it wasn’t. If we’re going to start giving penalties for shrugging the opposition off then there’ll be 7/8 penalties a game.
  13. Surely it’s an all ticket game tomorrow? With the importance and Stoke already selling the full end?
  14. They’ve never been able to match us away from home.
  15. Least he won’t have to do the north to save himself a bit of time.
  16. What’s even more crazy is we’ll be in the top 3/4 average away attendances in the EFL this season having not left the bottom 3.
  17. Yeah I think he knows he’s leaving in the summer regardless of what league we’re in and who can blame him.
  18. That’s the point, there is only one way we’re going to get the best from the club and that’s when DC is no longer here. Willing to put my neck on the line and say we’ll see league 2 under DC.
  19. Tbf we’re only a championship club on paper and even that’s not for much longer. Everything about our club absolutely reeks of league one/league two.
  20. The optimistic side to me thinks this is Röhl putting the feelers out, he knows he’s off at the end of the season but loves the fans and wants better for the club. This and Hansi Flick and Timo Werner coming to Hillsborough, we all know rich people talk and have contacts. Maybe I’m just a bit drunk and whats more likely is us in LG2 still under DC’s command. How depressing.
  21. They’re coming off the back of a derby win and probably 1 or 2 wins from safety. We’re coming off the back of a tankin. hazard a guess
  22. That’s great if we don’t lose by the same amount then it means nothing.
  23. That’s Swansea probably just about safe now.
  24. Literally all you had to say was RIP, there’s no need for anything else.
