  1. Absolutely no idea how this one is going to go. At start of season, I thought we'd get pumped 7 or 8 by them. Now though, any result wouldn't be a surprise. We still could get tonked, but weirdly so could they. A drab draw wouldn't also be a bad bed. Just no idea.
  2. Yep. All the fatheads demanded a 'fresh pint' and revelled in abusing teenage staff about it.
  3. Sheff Utd fans all smell like sweaty bum bums and energy drinks.
  4. Somewhere in or around Kelham would be ideal if it were possible. Still on 'our side' of the city and what great pre/post match drinking venues to choose from.
  5. Move on from the past, ffs. Those chimneys look depressing.
  6. I'd forgotten all about those ridiculous numbers. DC sure was some crazy loon.
  7. I'm sure we used to play 2Unlimited's 'Get Ready For This' like it was the start of some kid's party. I also might have imagined this.
  8. What about the nation's biggest though.. Brighton v Palace?
  9. His head will turn a new shade of lobster when we go 1-up and both sets of fans are singing 'Sacked in the Morning...'
  10. Get it right. It's the spelling police in this instance. Sincerely, the pedantic department.
  11. Agreed. For me, shouldn't even be any music as the players walk out deafening everyone either. Loved the old days where each team would run out to their own halves / supporters and the crowd would sing loud and naturally instead of being led.
  12. He'll be injured within a few games then sit out the rest of the season bleeding their finances.
  13. He'll still find a way to paint themselves as the underdogs. I'm going for a mini-rant about our administration and how cos we're on a high after getting rid of DC and with nothing to lose, it somehow makes us favourites.
  14. Suck it up and ground share with the blunts while Hillsborough is flattened and built again from scratch. Never got the crap transport links thing. We have a tram stop right on our doorstep that goes direct to the city centre train station and also to Meadowhall train station. Loads of buses go by on the second main road into the city after the parkway, the A61. Which Hillsborough sits next to. And the scattered parking actually makes it easier to get out of than everyone trying to get out of one massive car park like the Arena. Then on the pitch, we actually start winning things and competing at the top and Hillsborough is recognised globally for winning football in the Google search rankings instead of the disaster.
  15. I really think we can keep it going until the new owners come in. Then it's all about L1 and what really gets people turning up on a consistent basis - winning football and great atmospheres.
  16. I f'ing loved Forestieri. Don't care about his strops. Was pure box office and we were lucky enough to watch him live at his peak. Worth every penny of the entry fee to watch him. Back on track, FF's goal was the better one but still... Bannan's was a thing of beauty.
  17. The announcer did explain how there would be silence after the last post and detailed it perfectly. Heard it loud yet somewhat distorted in the south stand but understand that the PA system is not fit for purpose in most parts of the ground.
  18. Same here. Just got blank stares as the lad serving me asked the others what I was on about. They had no idea either. Gave up safe in the knowledge that I gave SWFC an extra £2 than advertised.
  19. Think we'd get the 30k if they opened up the other areas to allow people the chance to sit together. Looks like just single seats dotted about now?
  20. Imagine if we splashed that initial cash under DC and had, Forestieri, Joao, Lopez, Hutchinson, Westwood, Hunt, Pudil, Loovens, Wallace, Hooper, Lees, Lee and prime Bannan playing this season. We'd be promoted by Christmas.
  21. Just had a quick scroll through that. His head's going to explode soon with the pressure of all that bitternes and envy he's got steaming up inside. If we get taken on by anyone half decent, he's gone like...
  22. Echoes of Carlos. Wilder's going to start scrunching up £20 notes in interviews soon then mess up by losing in the derby with a high earning squad against a limited but spirited opposition from which there's no coming back from with the fans. To quote George Lucas, things go full circle. It's like poetry, it rhymes.
  23. Agreed. It's not their fault they've been held captive. Think they should be released to roam free in the Winter Gardens.
