Smith was one of the better players yesterday.
The problem for me is the slow lethargic build up play which generally ends with a hoof up front. We seem to play a 5-2-3 formation which leaves Bannan and Byers isolated in the middle. It's only because they're both excellent players that they shine so well. The times when they do come short to pick the ball up, they have no outlet, as the attack is 50 yards away. Rovers were far better on the ball in midfield because of this, simply more numbers.
