  1. I totally understand the frustration among fans and the feeling or need to be doing something. What I would say is whatever you do will it honestly influence Chansiri. Storming the pitch and getting the game abandoned as some suggest, will in my view, have no effect on him. He is not someone who is easily embarrassed. The current not buying merchandise, not a pound in the ground and (while I feel sorry for those involved) no POGs is impacting him and will make him move nearer the finishing line.
  2. He won’t and that is why ideas like storming in the pitch will have no effect. The only thing he seems to understand is money. The fans continuing tonot buying merch, not paying in the gate, not buying a pint etc while he has to staff all these facilities is where our impact will be most successful
  3. I think any point deduction will depend on ownership. If Chansiri moves in before Christmas I h think there will be a minimum if any deducted. Having said that, while the team has done well in the last 2 games, the lack of depth is going to tell shortly.
  4. Yet another problem of his absenteeism. If he was in the area more often, or ran the club professionally there would be someone in the management team who would identify such opportunities early enough to do something. I am sure once he’s gone his replacement will manage these issues so much better
  5. If there are no takers the stadium could be uneconomical for greyhounds only. Maybe an opportunity for a new ground.
  6. The only thing that bothers Chansiri is financial. Therefore the most effective protest is not POG and buying merchandise and drinks etc. While maintaining a media interest is important I think any suggestion of stopping games will have a negative effect. Currently everyone including the EFL is doing what they can we should do nothing that has the potential to dilute this support
  7. What we need to remember is that while many fans might have given up on this season and fully expect relegation, the players and coaches are professional sportsmen and will look to win every week
  8. If I remember correctly one if the issues for Reading was putting the funds for the coming g season into an escrow account. It may well be that Chansiri has eventually found someone crazy enough to financially support him but without providing the funds immediately. Whatever the reason let’s hope this is not resolved for 14 days and he has to face up the coming payroll and debt repayment, which I feel will push him over the line
  9. Like an earlier post I have thought the Ecckesfield Red Rose site would be great for consideration that was until this crazy idea of building all those houses. There is a former industrial site where Arthur Lees used to be which is close to the motorway and the super tram at Meadowhall
  10. Just a thought and maybe a little wild. Given the current circumstances and Chansiris empty wallet. If Textor is determined to buy the club, why not buy the ground first as a genuine attempt to to close a full deal. Chansiri could then pay off his loan and the wages, while Textor retains a hold over Chansiri to complete the deal.
  11. Selling players now seems to be cutting it too fine for him to receive any money to allow the wages to be paid. Given that we must now be in the death throes of his ownership it would be enough to push him over if the player(s) in question refused to move
  12. I got mine a couple of months ago. Impeccable timing. Never a hint of any issue
  13. With regards the North Stand, wasn’t the certificate granted on condition that work was carried out to a specified programme. If so that must mean there will be reviews along the way to ensure that work has been carried out. It would be handy to know when those dates were to allow the appropriate questions to be asked. We could do with a diary of upcoming events North stand work pay dates HMRC dates EFL hearing etc
  14. Or a member of the FSA as an external observer
  15. It’s costing him around £10m. a year. I don’t think he needs us financially
  16. There no communication from the club, people complain. Let’s have an Engagement Panel meeting say the club. No one should attend say many on OT Why not hold the meeting. Even though Chansiri will probably not attend let those who do know exactly what the feeling is with possible demonstrations outside
  17. I don’t know enough about rules governing transfers and especially emergency ones, but surely if Charles is sold then the whole premise of an emergency loan to cover his injury is out of the window.
  18. I’ve not read all the pages so if I am repeating I apologise. Next actions in my opinion should be for the Trust to contact the EFL and ask when the charges against him and the club are going to be held. They have probably been holding off while they’ve been helping him divest of his shareholding (as they put it). Well it now seems he is taking the rise and time for them to take the gloves off.
  19. Not a popular view but I’m not convinced the protests achieve anything. I fully understand the right of those who believe the opposite to carry them out but I don’t think Chansiri is concerned at all. They haven’t worked at Man Utd (Glazers) or Blackburn (Venkys) Macclesfield and others. It will only be when either someone offers him a deal which is acceptable or the Regulator steps in that he moves on. I don’t disagree either orotests per se which keeps the issue in the public domain but respect everyone had their own opinion and opinions are not facts
  20. It’s long been something that has seemed odd to me that Wednesday have no debt other than (mainly) to Chansiri. No loans are taken by the club to fund their operations. It’s as thought it is easier to hide information by simply providing Directors loans.
  21. The responses in here show how careful the Trust has to be. There isn’t a proposal yet and already people are taking firm positions. The Trust has been very good at bringing the fans together. I am sure they will not only take into account the variety of views but also the likelihood of impact any action might have on Chansiri
  22. I don’t think we are saying much that is different. By staying away I was specifically meaning those that have bought season tickets. I agree and think I mentioned once inside the ground nothing should be bought. I also think, for what it’s worth, at this stage Chansiri doesn’t give a fig one way or the other
  23. Staying away achieves nothing that a protest inside can’t. Season ticket holders are, in my view, entitled to go as they have already paid, but no drinks, food or merch should be bought. Inside fans against Chansiri will be a more visible protest and also we need to support these players who are going to need all the help they can get
