Pedersen won't be here next season, so there's no point in highlighting his flaws as a coach.
-
They’ve spent all week crying that they’d lose, only to turn up snd face a team that includes Ugbo and tries to play out from the back with Iorfa They’ll never face a weaker Wednesday than they did today. it’s not the victory they’ll make it out to be at all with their £140m+ squad

When the new owners are announced.....

A post moaning about people potentially moaning. We need to stop with this crap. -

I haven't seen anything from them under Wilder to suggest they're not in a relegation fight this season. They're only 3 points better off than us from when he came back in. There's no way they attract top talent in January either, because they won't pay the fees/wages, and they will still be bottom 6. If they end up offloading all their loan signings, then have to get new one's in, they're going to need time to gel too. It could be a very tough season for them, hopefully. Plus, it would be so sweet if we get relegated and they come down with us. -
What’s the timescales of the injured players ?

These administrators really are leaving the club in a much better place for the new owners, aren't they!

There's even a YouTube video showing how to buy the bundle!

Yes agree with that mate. Either way, it's nice to be talking about attendances in a more positive light these days, instead of encouraging each other to stay away. -

The prices are significantly lower, which is a start, combined with the feel good factor around the club and new owners coming in, i expect to see many more stay-away fans come back on a regular basis at these prices, which to me seem quite competitive again. Whilst the football isn't great and we're destined for League One, the increased crowds will show that this club is about more than just performances on the pitch to fans. -
Interesting update from Paul Stanley

If you have to use so many words to explain that it's just 'banter', guess what. As I said, it's forum-wide, not just your posts in here. Logout, take a month off. -

It's just that you post the same sniping, negative angle against fans in pretty much every thread. It's not banter, it's low-level trolling, pigs fans aren't as downbeat about the club/our fans as you are. Take a month off; come back when we have new owners. Hopefully, you'll be more positive. -

Spoke to a few mates/fa,ily members who are blunts fans, they've all said they think we'll win. My response has been the same to them all: you're playing a team that was odds on for relegation before a ball was kicked, has 6 first team starters out injured with a threadbare squad, if you can't beat them with the millions spent over the past few years, then why aren't you down at Bramhall Lane with your shoes off? We are so bad, and their squad value is so much higher than ours that even if they do win, there's very little glory in it for them. -
Adding to this: Ugbo came on in the 68th minute; we played a total of 96 minutes, so he had 28 minutes on the pitch. In that time, he had 4 touches of the ball, 3 of which were first-time short passes to teammates, and he also made 1 tackle. Jamal Lowe came on 13 minutes before him; he had 26 touches, 1 shot, 4 attempted dribbles, 4 passes into the final 3rd and made 2 recoveries, committing 5 fouls - essentially, in that period, he got stuck in Now Ugbo did play a little deeper, as Cadz was still on, but so did Lowe, too. Look at the difference in their stats for only 13 extra minutes of football. This isn't 'hating', this is just a discussion about a player whose stats are so woeful. What's really starting to concern me, though, is why Pedersen remains committed to using him. Does he and his staff not look at the data? What we're seeing is a player who does not want to play. He doesn't show for the ball, he wants rid of it as soon as it comes to him, he avoids the ball too much.
-
Ugbo doesn’t want to play. He doesn’t show for the ball, is nowhere to be seen for 2nd balls and the stats back it up he had 15 touches tonight, 0 in the oppositions box and 0 shots Cadz had 11, 3 in the opposition box and 2 shots Lowe had 36 touches, 4 in the oppositions box and 3 shots it shows in his game, he doesn’t want tk get into positions to get the ball often enough It’s not confidence anymore, it’s competence, he just doesn’t work hard enough for himself or the team. Probably one of our most disappointing signings in recent years, after what was such a good loan spell.

Mike Ashley preparing a bid
0742 replied to ChrisWaddlesMullet's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
there’s no profit in selling us as a championship club, it’s not worth the hassle for Ashley. By the time he’s rebuilt the squad to get promotion to the championship as well as what he will pay for the club and the necessary infrastructure that requires money spending on it, he’d barely break even. If Ashley comes in, it will be to sell us a PL team. -
If the off field stuff wasn’t going on, the fans would rightly be getting on Ugbo’s back. Today was the first match I’ve been tk this season, and I’ve previously been in the ‘lacking confidence’ camp, but after watching him closely today, it’s not confidence, it’s competence. There’s no way anyone could convince me that Ugbo puts the work in on the training ground. Competence breeds confidence and Ugbo is truly incompetent.
-
Absolute fraud of a footballer Ingelson played him in today and you could just see from how he received the ball and fumbled tk get it onto his right foot that he’s just an awful player, it was so easy for him to let the ball run across his body and create the angle to shoot with his left, but instead he looked like it was his first time kicking a ball What makes things worse is how little effort he actually puts in.
-
We look well without the ball, but I’m Struggling to see what the plan is when we have it.

Heard a funny story today. A local boozer (wasn't told the name) upon Wilder getting the job back at the sty, has commissioned an artist to paint a SUFc themed mural on the side of the pub with the main part being of Chris Wilder, but Wilder himself has stepped in and asked them not to, due to how bad results have been, and he fears it will be defaced by their own fans. The said landlady isn't very happy, but he's insisted he doesn't want it going up. Hardly the actions of a confident manager! -
We're destined for League one next season, with a new owner, we should be looking to keep those 3 players, as they're all top half Championship quality. So for P&S reasons, if we keep them, it's less money we have to spend when we inevitably get promoted back up to the Championship. Whether they'll want to stay for a season in League One is another matter, though. Hopefully our new owners fully intend to do a Birmingham and build a good Championship team, whilst in League One.
-
Against Hibernian?! It's hardly the couldron of Istanbul against Galatasaray. If they can't handle that, maybe they should be looking for new clubs.

He's done, never again will he lead the pigs to any form of success. The sooner their owners see this, the better for them. His ego is what stops him from being a half-decent manager, blames everyone else and never takes any responsibility. I hope they can't afford to sack him for years now. -
Should a new Owner retain Pedersen OR replace?
0742 replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
First paragraph is not correct at all. That's just a wildly held assumption by fans who don't really know what goes on at elite-level sport, especially when it comes to injuries and injury management. As for the rest, you should probably just read this and we leave it there, but i know if my moral compass is a strange one based on this, you're not the type of person I could be bothered to converse with: https://ploehmann.substack.com/p/who-is-henrik-pedersen Very odd that you've taken offence at what i said, though. Guess only time will tell which one of us is on the right side of this one. But a lot of the comments in here again reek of blind faith, with a lack of critical thinking. Seems familiar.
