I think we should do that every home match
0742 replied to fedupowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
so in essence, you don’t agree with it because: - the police may arrest some people - you believe someone will get hurt on the pitch - you’re unable to go on because you’re 70 I agree with your point on on encouraging people to go on, unless you’d do so yourself, but I’ve yet to see any evidence of that actually happening. lastly, you say it should only be done as a last resort. That is exactly where we are with this massive cǔnt in charge, he’s destroying people’s livelihoods by paying for extra stewards and yet withholding staffs wages. This is last fücking resort, mate. We are there. Staring down the barrel of our club being damaged so badly that it may take years to recover from, whilst staff take out loans to pay their bills and feed themselves. -

what’s the reason you don’t agree with it? -
Once again, a small fan group has popped up on the back of an idea and have ran with it, but they've put near zero effort in to actually organising this, so it will likely be a failure. If it was organised properly, i'd be on the pitch, but it's not so the big risk is if too few go on, they will all be arrested anc charged, as well as face lengthy bans from the ground too. Just asking pepple to tip up and invade the pitch on the 10th minute is so basic, but more than that, it will most likely set things back that could have really made an impact for weeks, maybe even months as if only a handful of peopl do it and they all get arrested, it will stop others doing it in future.

Birmingham - All away tickets now sold out

Those costs are already covered mate, they're not additional costs that the club incurs, they're just included in the general running costs of the club. -

You'd be amazed if the club makes a loss on away ticket sales?! You do realise those staff are already paid a salary, and what could the 'additional costs' be that you mention?! You keep sticking up for putting money in Chansiri's pockets so you can enjoy your day out. -

As much a set of clowns as Chansiri himself All fans buying tickets, remember this: you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you tolerate And this shows exactly that our fans will tolerate this horrific behaviour of an owner letting fellow Sheffield folk struggle by not paying their wages.- 110 replies

Barry Bannan is an absolute legend, not for what he's done on the pitch, but the tireless work he's done to represent the club, its fans and even the City of Sheffield. This latest interview merely reinforces his status as a man who does the right thing, even when it could have a short-term negative impact on his own situation. Chansiri will be seething at this, knowing that a true club legend, someone he used to have the ear of, has now turned against him. One thing I do know for a fact about DC is that he desperately wants to be liked; rejection like this will cut him to the core.

Agree with this, should have also snapped up the land across from the ground too and developed it. You'd have thought a man with Chansiri's background in property would have already seen the potential....

We may be on our arse but at least we're not Blades

Any Wednesday fan could have written his post-match interview script for him, so predictable -

Many people slating the owners, but what about Wilder, seems he can't get a job at another club. The guy has no dignity after the way he was treated. Whilst he may have cost them a nailed on automatic promotion last season, the owners 'Selles' experiment has definitely cost them it this season. Yet Wilder goes back like the little lap dog simp that he is. He's definitely got a cuck chair. -

Hate to say it, but If they'd kept Wilder, i think they'd have been promoted this season. This league is pretty weak compared to last season. -

Hirssstttttt! -
At this stage, it should be 0. I cannot think of any sane reasons anyone would POTG at those prices when we're supposed to be sticking together as a fan base to get DC out. Absolute melons who are still spending money at the club.

EFL Considering Increasing Championship Play Off Spots to Six
0742 replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This isn't the issue with game or competitiveness, it's the gap that is widening every season between the top half of the Championship and the bottom half of the Premier League. Clubs that go up, need a better chance of staying up. Imagin a team finishing 8th in the Championship managing to get promoted, they'd be hamered every week so badly it would almost be pointless them being there. Filter more money from the top down through the leagues instead of coming up with changes for change's sake with ideas like this. -
Articles like this are gold. Whenever anyone in the future googles the 'Chansiri' name, they'll be met with articles like this, on high-ranking websites, highlighting what an absolute clown he is. Dejphon has forever tarnished the family name, the absolute stain of a bloke.

Iorfa is our only real threat from long throws, and he's a terrible header of the ball. We're simply hoping for a lucky bounce in the box from corners and long throws. I would have hoped that Pederson woud have seen this by now and adjusted our tactics from them.
-
I do think the fanbase, or a faction of it, needs to ramp up the intensity of the protests now. Not sure many have the stomach for it, though, going off the fact that most can't even stay away. If anyone wants to give me a hand taking those elephants for a walk, though, give me a shout.
-
Why would he cling on though? That's what we really need to figure, because within that will be his weakness and that's what we need to go after in the most assertive way possible.
-
I wish after 2017, we’d have brought the same calibre of players in as Baz, he really deserved so much better from this club.

Weird trolling post.

We can still support the players whilst discussing their individual performances. I've never understood why any criticism of a performance is taken as being a 'hater' or whatever nonsese label want to throw out these days. As for the keeper, the way he greeted Ugbo before kick off, i'm not sure he'd even met the players before he took to the pitch, so it wasn't a massive surprise that he looked unsteady, i also think Pederson should have started Stretch instead, someone who at least has been around the players and will know how we play.
-
He's got a touch of class, i'd just like us to be able to put some better players around him as i think he'd flourish, but he seems to link play between midfield and attack very well.
-
How the hell as he missed that?! Hasn't the kid supposed to have score hundreds of goals at youth level!
