My theory is that the Bristol manager was really smart. We bossed the first half, and their only occasional threat came from Scott Twine, through the centre. I have no idea why Danny took Shea off, but I think he deployed Palmer to stop the threat from Twine. Manning responded impressively by switching play to the wings, and we ended up over-staffed in defensive midfield and unders-staffed everywhere else on the pitch. I guess we didn't have the flexibility and options to change again.
