    Would've loved to see FDB playing under Röhl's stewardship. Can't help but think it would've been a bit special.

    Almost missed the Windass winner at Wembley. Busting for wee I said to my daughter as Dawson gathered the ball to punt it up the pitch, 'Going to the loo before the pens'. But as I approached the gangway something made me turn round. Needless to say the need for that wee quickly disappeared.

    Personally don't want us anywhere near promotion at the minute. As a club we just aren't ready both on and off the pitch. A steady build over a couple of seasons under Röhl's stewardship should see us capable of competing at a higher level. The big shadow over this is, as always Mr Chansiri.

    You've left out the biggest signing of them all. Danny Röhl extending his contract. Without that I doubt the above would be happening.

    A thing of beauty. I don't have the IT skills to upload it onto here but what a team goal. Started at the back, a 18 or so passes move carving Sunderland wide open. Pundits on all TV channels would be creaming themselves if that was one of the so called big hitters. Well done Röhl, the coaches and players. Superb.
