  1. In 2008/9 Bournemouth were in administration and relegated to L2. In 2015/16 they were promoted to the PL. Of course things can turn around for Wednesday, a far bigger club with vastly bigger support base, in a fairly short period of time. A new owner will take over from the charlatan currently ruining our club and set us back on the path to a much better future. I sincerely believe we will be back in the PL by 2030. Im determined to be alive when it does happen.
  2. I don’t want this to trigger anybody, but that’s reyt up theer with finding out there’s no Father Christmas.
  3. Honolulu Wednesday where’d you get those Thais. Honolulu Wednesday He’s a Parasite.
  4. Jon Beswetherick (or Kurtan as some knew him) were a reyt ladies man in his Argyle days.
  5. Surprised Richard Hawley hasn’t written one.
  6. Argyle still also run out to ‘Semper Fidelis’ an American marine corps anthem by John Philip Sousa. Very fitting given the Pilgrim fathers etc.
  7. Plymouth’s Janner song divides opinion amongst some Argyle fans, but I think it’s one of the better anthems. Certainly better than Arsenal’s. Written by two local musicians, it eulogises about the 3 Plymouth towns, Plymouth, Devonport and East Stonehouse, the local landscape, Plymouth Sound etc and the crowd all sing loudly with most of it, especially when the lyrics say, ‘where everyone’s known as a Janner’. Janner! Janner! Janner! For those who don’t know, locals particularly dockyard workers, are known as Janners and it’s thought that Naval personnel may have created the nickname many moons ago. Proper anthem which can only be attributed to one club, unlike ours unfortunately.
  8. Wash your mouth out!!
  9. What they should do then when Chansiri appeals, is to reduce the points deduction by say half and fine him a million quid for each point.
  10. If a new owner comes in and has the Lep knocked down and rebuilt, it should be called the Barry Bannan stand. I can’t think of any player over the past 50 years who deserves it more.
  11. Pay on the gaters would be the ones likeliest to boo.
  12. I imagine what it needs is 50-100 younger lads who don’t really give a s h i t to go on and sit down. The more reluctant ones would probably follow. For me, a sit down protest would be best. No suggestion of disorder, just a passive, peaceful protest.
  13. I thought we’d be certain to lose at Brum, but we came so close to winning that game. Team spirit seems very high at the moment so you just never know. Realistically though, 3-0 to Coventry
  14. Reyt lads. We’re having a pitch protest. One on, all on. I’ll be reyt behind yer.
