  1. Well thats a good start for a defender, now let him learn his trade without calling him out for Gods sake. He is only 18/19 years old.
  2. Up to referee to stop game. Always play to the whistle.
  3. Totally agree, i think he is just at bit too small at the moment. 16 years old , so hopefully he will grow taller and bulk out a bit more in time. Did you notice how Grimsby tried to use his lack of height numerous times with lofted balls from GK and the goal came from the area he should have been defending from the corner. How many times do we concede from corners though, needs sorting.
  4. Exactly what i said if you read my original post. If you play the young players too many times, you risk burnout and possible serious injuries.
  5. No way he should be playing 40 plus games in his break through season, he would burn out and get seriously injured eventually. Obviously my opinion.
  6. Got to start in front of Dom. . You can see he will become a very good player and future captain , all he needs is experience. Dom gives me the heebee geevees, we all know he panics when playing out from the back and can only pass sideways or backwards when he does have any time on the ball. Weaver though is only 18 ? and already reads the game and organises other players around him, something Dom has no idea of. It appears we have nothing to lose by giving these young lads a chance, take them out of the firing line every few games to give them a rest, then go again.
  7. Totally agree with all this. We need to be as solid as we can at the back and Cadz defo needs to be playing as a pair up top,( Ugbo for me). to give him a chance to show his undoubted potential.
  8. I totally agree with this. You have to adapt the tactics to the players you have at your disposal. I understand we all like to watch attacking footy, but if we are to have any chance of surviving this season, needs must, we need to secure the 1 point per game and try and hit them on the break for the 3 points. I actually thought this was one of Dannys faults, he wanted to play pretty football with ugly footballers ( if you know what i mean )
  9. Maybe some of the Leeds fans will do it for nowt when they come into town.
  10. It gets better by the minute, proper supporters ( customers ) them piggies aint they .
  11. No , its expected tomoz aint it, but what a way for the new manager to start at bum hole lane !!
  12. Been out on the lash today, checked the scores, Blunts 1-4 Bristol City, WOW it made a good evening even better. Might keep em quiet for a while do you think ?
  13. Its not who, my Dad was a blade, but when and where that converted me. My Dad used to take me to bum hole every other week, so i started going to Hillsborough with me mates to try it out. I was instantly struck with the atmosphere on the uncovered kop, sun or shine. Away supporters were also allowed on as well, which added to the fun.1966 was the year that really did it though, that F.A. Cup run was unreal. The semi final at Villa Park against the mighty Chelsea was one of my best experiences, the atmosphere was insane, everybody standing always created great moments. The coach journey home, wow, the headlines in the Green UN, OWLS DO IT !!! The Final, well i couldn,t get a ticket, so had to watch it at me mates house, we were all crying together that evening. When i started work we started following Weds. to away games. We went out on the lash and kipped in the back of a mates van till we sobered up enough to drive home the following day. When it came to taking my sons, well one went to the other side and bigrbuk was hooked. We had season tickets during the 90,s which was probably the best it gets for quality team wise. Waddle, Hirst, Sheridan, Walker, Neilson, Bright, Warhust etc. 1993, 4 visits to Wembley, all good memories, but just look at the shambles now. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH CHANSIRI OUT !!!
  14. They have according to the trust. The EFL seem to know where Channers is funding the club and he has sufficient funds for the forthcoming season !! Yet he can,t pay June wages. Who is telling lies then, cos it doesnt make sense.
  15. Really, yet he can,t pay July wages. Somebody is not telling the truth.
  16. With the latest developments re Danny, Pato and possibly Charles after all the other departures i would like to congratulate you on finally breaking the fans spirit. We are all broken, you have achieved what you set out to do. Enjoy your club with no fans present.
  17. Dream on mate, you forgot about the transfer embargo, we can only sign freebies with a max £7000 a week wage cap. No top players coming for that.
  18. Its just what teams like Peterborough do and we should follow suit. There are gems in the lower leagues that when turned pro. with full time training and coaching can make us some kind off profit down the line. For Gods sake give any of these signings that we are more than likely going to sign a chance.
  19. We don,t, we have it on a long lease i believe.
  20. Could it be the senior management person, who was in the meeting between Danny and the players, is part of the new owners management team and was there to reassure the players.
  21. The Bizzle has spoken, ITS NOT THIS GUY.
  22. Thanks for this, any indications of who it might be ?
  23. I will give you a clue. Jordan Rhodes 8 million pounds.
  24. Remember Danny saying that he had booked the same facilities in Germany that we used last year for pre season training. Not sure how far into the pre season it starts though.
  25. Sorry, we do not own the training ground, we only lease it.
