The most annoying thing for me was some of the players were like you and didn't care. They'll be going off home in their £100K motors to their big houses and not be bothered by being humiliated today.

Potentially a new stadium,i really hope not

I can imagine some of our fans at the Olive Grove ground when it was proposed to move to Hillsborough. 'I don't want us to move to Owlerton old chap. It's just a soulless field in the middle of nowhere' 'There's nothing there, where am I going to get my pre match glass of porter with mutton pie' It's to far for a Hansom Cab' It's 3 miles away, that's me done with supporting the Wednesday if we move'. -
I thought it was a mistake from Henrik not to start Cooper. We ave conceded far too often in the first 15 mins this season by being sloppy at the back. We needed Cooper to start even if it was part of a 2 in central defence with Iorfa. As per usual that early goal against has killed us and there's no way back after that.

If it's a choice of agreeing to pay him off or paying for the North Stand roof repairing, I'd rather spend the rest of the season getting soaked in my seat. It's like torture having to watch him.

Is Ugbo the Nigerian word for invisible.

I expect 100% effort from all of them, especially in a local derby. The lack of effort and fight from some of them was shameful.

I don't know about faking the injury, he did take a knock. But I feared the worst when he started instead of Cooper. Whenever we concede early it's usually a result of him dicking about at the back. Every game he is a liability. Got to be one of the worst CB's we have had in my 50 years of watching us.

Half of them did., the rest should be ashamed for their lack of fight.

And can take J.Lowe and Iorfa with him.

Unless it's the Council wanting to build houses or business units, then it's not a problem. So if we move to a new stadium 3 or 4 miles away from Hillsborough you're done. Wow!

Apologies Inspector, somehow you were quoted as saying the comments I replied to, not the original poster.

The administrator has said they weren't one of the parties that have registered their interest with the.. I don't know what else you expect RS to say.

Update on Supertram for the match this weekend

I think the buses won't be going through the chaos at Hillsborough Corner. -

What’s the timescales of the injured players ?
Tommy Crawshaw replied to Kopparberg's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'll have to take your word for that. I don't remember seeing him play in a Wednesday shirt. -
Yes, the latest tram that goes from Meadowhall straight through to Middlewood is 0926. Gets to Cathedral 0944, Middlewood 1002. You can get trams after that but they only go as far as the Cathedral. But there is a replacement bus service YE1 from High Street running from about 1000 every 12 minutes to Middlewood.

Cooper played for CSKA Sofia at the end of July, so less than 4 months ago. He probably had a better Summer fitness wise than our players did, who didn't really have a pre season. And rumour is he has been training with us for a while. I think CB is more about using your head, positioning and reading the game than anything else. Glenn Loovens hadn't played for 6 months before signing for us and he played straight away v Leicester at home only a few days after signing. Our defence this season has been a car crash. Especially early on in games we are all over the shop and not alive to any danger. Concede early again on Sunday and it's game over. We need to start solidly and I wouldn't have any concerns about starting Cooper. -

On the other hand, some of the 'injuries' today wouldn't have kept players out in the 70's and 80's. They'd have just put a bandage on it and got on with it.
