Two goals on a plate. So, so poor. -

Shock, horror - ref is falling for their constant diving. As if we don't have enough to contend with already... -

Ref has been weak. He's giving them all the decisions - and Utd will make sure they use this to their advantage. -

We've no answer to their high press. Gonna be a long afternoon... -

Playing out from the back, just like the ref, is doing us no favours... -
We're moving to Southampton?!

Steven Fletcher - I wanted to retire at Wednesday

Fans are still having a pop at individuals when the root cause of almost everything that's gone wrong with our club over the past decade is our former owner. This is how he held on for so long - scapegoating - too many fell for it, and seemingly some still are.- 46 replies

Got a very Battersea Power Station vibe to it.

These types of players are a dying breed thanks to the obession with possession football and data led coaching. The amount of dribbles a player attempts has been declining every year as the risk factor is coached out of players. It's hard to think of any maverick players at any club in 2025 - and the sport is weaker for it.

Our former owner showed us early on how poor his decision making was going to by sacking Gray months after taking over.

Matchday thread: SWFC v Southampton (A)

Can only see a home win I'm afraid... -
In fairness it wouldn't take much to revolutionise the club after the mismanagement of the past decade. Just doing the basics right would be a big improvement as we've seen already with the administrators. I want to dream that whoever buys the club will finally transform us into a very successful team but it would be typical Wednesday to have another false dawn wouldn't it...

Hamstring player handled the ball on the ground to stop the attack. Ref got the Inglesson one wrong but he went on the outside when the pass to him was central so he wouldn't have got on the end of it anyway. Thought the ref was OK generally. He let the game flow.

NORWICH GAME - Let's get Norwich sold out now!

Another DC legacy - reducing the capacity of the stadium. -
I haven't bought a single item of merchandise with the DC badge on it. That's how much I detest it. I bought some old shirts off eBay for my kids when I could have bought new from the club. Get that 70s Owl back on all the merchandise and I'll be opening my wallet. Feels like there's a real desire in the fan base for the badge to go back. It would be the easiest of easy wins for the new owners too...

Buy a load of these and hand them out at the Norwich match

Wrong badge Would be quite symbolic to pop them all as we rid ourselves from the cancer that is our former owner... -
A coherent statement with no gaslighting or insincerity? God, we've tolerated some utter gross over the past 10 years haven't we...

Would be the easiest win for a new owner in history - give us back our badge!
-
Remove every single reminder of the previous chairman, forever.
-
The current badge is an ugly, outdated mess and a dreadful piece of branding. It needs to go - we need to rid every reminder of him from the club forever. It's his badge and a symbol of his arrogance and incompetence. And yes, before anyone says, I know it's a nod to a previous badge of ours. But it's not fit for purpose. Be gone!

That was a very reassuring interview. It's gonna take time but I think the future is finally looking brighter for the club.

But the old badge!

Black and gold until it's sold. He's still the owner - the boycott should remain until he has nothing to do with the club in any capacity.
