  1. Shame we don't play Utd sooner. We could have chanted "We've got more Embargo's than you've got points or goals."
  2. WEst Brom last year. Even turned down a few freebies. Won't go whilst Chansiri is there. I do feel sorry for vendors and businesses around the ground.
  3. Damn them..... (shakes first at the sky Grandpa simpson style - note more shaking at the sky until the VPN downloads)
  4. Didn't he turn down a huge bid for Joao and let him go for practically nothing. How do these work like this?
  5. This is just ridiculous. There needs to be a balance between fan and commercial ownership. These aren't just businesses, these are centres for the community. Players wages and global games grow whilst the lower clubs feel the pressure. When owners buy the club they should be required to put a specific amount as a deposit which is held by the EFL. Then when it's identified that the owners and numpties without a custodian runs it off the deposit until an owner comes along. This is obviously problematic if the owner has delusions on the value or sale of the club.
  6. No fan base deserves this.... the problem with the direction of football is away from the loyal local fans to a global strategy and loads of unscrupulous owners gambling with historic establishments. You can't exactly change clubs as there is so much history embedded within it (family and friend moments). Realistically it's not going to change but I won't pick another club so it just feels savage for us at the moment.
  7. This won't be the quick fix folks are hoping for. Look at the water industry, much more important than football but it takes an age to sort out anything.
  8. I'm guessing it's beneficial for them to clear off certain debts to prevent potential actions that would harm SWFC in the long term. Hopefully this will limit any points or player sales...
  9. If you base it on stats from most of their games Utd should not be near the top of the table. However, they are good and creating pressure, scoring an earlyish goal and the defending it for most of the game. They're almost Burnley-esque. They aren't playing the free flowing 3-5-2 rampaging centre backs that they used to so I'd say it's more even game that they think. Knowing this we'll probably concede on 2 minutes and be frustrated out of the game.
  10. Could it be a trio of promotions in Yorkshire this year?
  11. Big 3 points today. Rival playoff teams have lost and playing one of the worst form teams in the Division. What could go wrong?
  12. It appears that he's not getting back into the AC Milan team and did nothing at Forest last season (not a single goal). Not sure our forward line needs him and current Ugbo. Despite the above whenever I watched him for Liverpool he was a handful for most opposition.
  13. He could be unsettled or wants to move away before Canada becomes a US state. I think it's a good signing if true and sort of experience that could help a team move forward. Perhaps if he signs for 18 months. We might target young CM's with potential in the summer to gain experience from him and Bannan.
  14. This window will demonstrate how serious we are with a playoff push. If we don't think it's likely I'd rather use our own youngsters or try and get a few players with potential on a permanent to fill in any gaps and begin preparing them for the future. I can't see why we'd want to push our already stretched budget to bring in loans when the squad is quite large as it is.
  15. It would make the process easier if they'd pay release clauses. The process clubs use is more insidious.... continue to create speculation in the press and unsettle the manager. It's puts strain on the relationship between chairman and the manager to the point where the chairman accepts below market value/release clause. Thankfully Chansiri has precedent with the bruce release clause so can't see us backing down. On the whole, i'd prefer they'd just bugger off though.
