  1. Get rid of DC, then we can fill the ground with fans and restore the passionate backing of the boys.
  2. Also have a two hour trip with my two grandkids, both both wanted to go as it's the first home game but after we discussed the situation, we are as one, not a penny spent until Chansiri is gone.
  3. Suet Jam Roly Poly with pouring cream......the King of deserts
  4. Me and my grandson, guilty as charged. I was born and brought up in Sheffield and my grandson born in Germany but chose his grandads team, after years of brain-washing. We were poring over the fixture list yesterday and picked a game a month to attend, including opening game, Plymouth, Palmers testimonial and a local game at Sunderland. WAWAW.
  5. Thanks for the heads up, tickets bought for me and the grandson.
  6. Bought the Orange shirt yesterday as I don't want the Sponsor spashed across it. The shirt looks great.
  7. 12th June, has Chris signed?
  8. I was 45 and now 69 so we had better bloody hurry up and get back to the PL, as I am running out of time!
  9. CITY 4 SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 1 League Division 1 9th August 1969 Attendance 32,583 Scorers City Young(12 & 17), Bell(33), Lee(80 pen) Sheff W Eustace(62 pen)
  10. An emotional plea that was heartfelt and not an attack on Chansiri. It captured the feelings of myself and I'm sure the majority of our fans. I hope that Chansiri sells our beloved club and we can move on, in a stable and sustainable way, for all our sakes.
  11. Birmingham sack their manager Friday and have a new manager and team installed today, 5 days. The difference between a well run and financed club and our beloved Owls. Rooney now has 10 days to work with is new team. Where is our manager? typical of our owner.
  12. But what about the 'situations and conditions'?
  13. Totally agree, the semi 2nd leg and the final will last in the memory for a lifetime. I've never been more depressed since Darren left and watching our performance v Sunderland we look a certain to drop again.
  14. Agree the stats but do they equal that we were comfortably the better team? We won in the last minute of injury time in extra time.....that is not comfortably. When the goal went in everybody around us went mental, brilliant feeling. I will also say I never wanted Darren to go and was hoping beyond all hope, that Chansiri would get him back. Anyway here's hoping but better times with new owners and a manager worthy of our club.
  15. I think you are watching a different pal. We were overjoyed when we won but it was a very close run game and after Bannon went off we feared penalties. I am Wednesday through and through so if biased, I would take your view but as a realist, it could have gone the other way.
  16. Comfortably the better team? That was not the game we attended at Wembley, we're we struggled against 10 men but thankfully won.
  17. A win under Neil Thompson as temp. manager.
  18. Leeds game, if we loose its time up for Xisco, as any replacement has the international break to try and sort out this mess. If DC has any brains he has to go cap in hand to get Darren back.
