  1. That maybe true however it drags it out costing nutcase more money. Also doesn’t change the fact that the value of the land is nowhere near the value of what he paid for the stadium or any loan against it. Hes screwed either way without the club renting it.
  2. I’m sure a willing buyer would have gone through all this multiple times over before purchasing the club and at the end of the day (not sure on the legality) if he can sell the stadium again to himself and then kick us out, who’s he going to rent it too. Sheffield city council can make it very difficult for him to use it for real estate even then it wouldn’t we worth that much it’s on a flood plane after all. We might be without a stadium for a few years but we’ll just move onto a newer stadium with better facilities.
  3. Sheffield fc are supposed to be getting a new stadium plus they could never afford the rates and wouldn’t even fill a stand with supporters they’re only in 9th tier of English football and Sheffield doesn’t have a rugby team big enough to justify using hillsborough.
  4. What the hell do people expect the EFL to do. The EFL is made up by the clubs, clubs vote on what policies and such. The people at the EFL are bound to the rules that all the 92 have voted on and agreed to like FFP for example. They can’t do anything right now because they don’t have the authority to do so if they could I’m sure they would. The crap thing is the only way to punish terrible owners is by punishing the club as that’s the only way they can get at terrible owners.
  5. I just can’t see why anyone would buy the club in the state it’s in. We have 0 chance of staying up as we have lost key players that we won’t be able to replace and we’re about to get points deductions out the wazoo. For instance with the missing payments to other clubs I believe it’s 5 points per club we’ve missed payment to (might be wrong not sure). So the club isn’t really a championship club it’s a league one club. Why pay £40 to £50 million now when in a years time you can pay £20 to £30 million it makes no business sense to buy the club in its current state. It’s just all so depressing.
  6. Well clubs there are multiple ways transfer fees can be paid it depends on the agreement between the clubs. Clubs can agree to pay in instalments and the selling club can say use total value of the transfer in that year even tho they are being paid in instalments
  7. Ok but if it was a usual thing wouldn’t Rob have said something similar to what Joe crann said the other day about the activity at company house. Again I could be wrong and fair enough if I am but this seems far from usual. The council hasn’t mentioned the lane have they.
  8. Not every year from the council. I could be wrong however, but if it was a normal thing why would Rob be reporting it.
  9. Are people really saying it’s a nothing statement???? If the stand was fine and up to standard they wouldn’t have said a word. Have we had statements from the council since we moved into hillsborough in 1899 no. Pretty obvious that there’s problems with the north stand.
  10. It’s because they would’ve been kicked outta European league had he not sold his stake that’s all I believe.
  11. They’ve had some trouble lately TUG. Last year Reb lobster that they owned was placed into admin until it could be sold.
  12. Well I’m not sure how much it is. At the end of the day we’re not dealing with a normal bloke god knows what’s going through his head.
  13. He has a loan secured against the stadium from my understanding that one.
  14. Yes it was but FH was going to release it today it was their interview to post not his.
  15. If nobody is willing to pay the value of the clubs debt then admin is better for him
  16. I mean I must admit I’m not liking the sound of Shaw. It’s been alleged that he’s the one that leaked the interview.
  17. Source? Please don’t say twitter or X
  18. Yea I get what you’re saying problem is we’re all dealing with an absolute nutcase so who knows what’s going through his mind
  19. Well he was the one to break the news players hadn’t been paid or sponsorship one or other
  20. Problem with that is if there was another offer that he’d accepted, why wouldn't he have said to this Florida consortium that he’s received another offer of say £100million match it if you want to talk all he’s done is tell them no and not even given a counter offer. I mean surely an NDA wouldn’t stop him from saying that.
  21. Do read a lot of people online tho saying shaw isn’t as clean as people think.
  22. Yea I see what you’re saying but that was under different people running the EFL from what Kieran maguire said yesterday it’s different leadership at the EFL who want to see all its clubs prosper.
  23. It’s not quite a three transfer ban Joe crann did an article on it it’s more restricted transfers it’s not terrible. Another thing is a new owner could talk to the efl and sort out a deal to bring the club out of restrictions. Efl don’t want to destroy clubs but must punish owners who don’t play ball and unfortunately ours ain’t atm
  24. Just thinking about it, I wonder if and this is hypothetical Chansiri has been purposefully annoying Röhl so that he would look for another club so chancer could cash in on his release clause and that’s why he’s no trying to find other sources of money?
  25. For now yes. But it’s obvious he can’t keep it for much longer than say end of the year
