So the players who may join us won't be influenced by idiots who make ridiculous assumptions and statements they know nothing about. So whilst I agree. The new manager has been responsible for the improved atmosphere. The results only have to be poor for 2 orv3 games before the dc slaters will feel justified to spew the rubbish and damaging opinions.
-
U know what f u. Totally. From a steel worker from 18. Seeing what tories did to northern manufacturering. Then taking early retirement to cate 24 7 for my terminally ill wife . Spadge and tory is efing insulting so much to me. My more balanced and thoughtful point of view of you is. Your a total pillock. Of you said anything like that to my face I would have knocked you out. And rightly so.

You say dc is stubborn. I have just embarrassed your opinions totally. But you have no emotion or the intelligence required to take it in and reevaluate your stance and opinion. I really think dc has incredible patience and fortitude to keep doing his best with people like you. Seriously forums and football clubs can be ruined by people like you. If you don't realise now that you're behaviour is damaging to the club. Tjen how far is it going to go before you do realise. You certainly won't listen to an argument that just proves your judgement is poor and unrelated to things that I have mentioned. But still under the impression that i am the bull sh177er. And spadge and pleb and lemming and tory. The political view is totally unreasonable unrelated and such a brilliant example of how people like you assume the totally wrong idea and then insinuate a total fantasy. While all the time trying to prove your opinion is more informed and intelligent. Wtf who i voted for any of your business anyway. Who gives a throw. If i was a tory does it mean my opinion is lesser than if i voted Labour. Yeah you would make a brilliant chairman. Hope to god you never win elgordo. Imagine the state of the club after just a few months

Just like your criticism of dc. You are making derogatory comments about my political views, my intelligence and saying im lazy. No wonder you're opinions are so wrong about dc when even with me you have determined certain opinions about subjects that I have not even mentioned. Absolutely incredible that you feel the right to say any if those things whilst defending your opinion on dc. How difficult is it to realise why your opinion has zero basis but its still damaging the club.

It amazes me how posting a more positive and balanced attitude to dc is always create a reply with personal comments and being called a host of not nice names. For me that sums up perfectly why I don't think that their opinion has any validity. Why a opinion that differs from your own gives anyone the right to do this is part of the problem with why they don't understand anything regarding chairing swfc or how to debate an issue in a way that adds weight to their unbalanced opinion
-
Absolutely completely right. Ultimately the negativity is totally doing much more damage than good. Dc is more likely to change any decisions about swfc if he was approached by a more balanced argument. He certainly does not respond to the how some criticism has been made. Neither would anyone else in his position react positively to such derogatory opinions made to him personally and on social media.
-
Lemming. No. Refusing to post anything of a negative nature towards dc is damaging to the club and it future. Making posts of a derogatory nature towards dc is ignorant and poorly judged. The complexity and expense of running a club like Wednesday is impossible for these people who slate dc to comprehend. If i am a lemming. You are uneducated with no empathy and an inflated opinion of your own abilities of how to run a club like swfc. Nobody who slates dc posts what experience and training they have in the field of being a successful chairman that explains why they think they have the right to criticise and post comments of such a negative nature. The lemming wonders why this is.

Brilliant. So it is doing loads of good then. Anyone who thinks that dc can ignore the haters is living in cloud cuckoo land. Potential signings read media news that the moaners get. Players feel negative emotions when playing. It encourages the more moronic extreme people to say things to family and dc on social media. How anyone can say that these people who have made it a habit of slating dc are not affecting the club adversely is one of the haters that is too ignorant and self motivated to realise what negative reactions are a direct result of a hatred of dc that is almost sinister and definitely not deserved. I feel more disappointed with the dc haters lack of empathy, crude,, uninformed and unfair criticism that so called supporters post. Than any decision dc has made at swfc. Amazes me how fully trained shelf fillers, cold calling salesmen, double glazers and any other occupation these fans have. Why do they think that they know exactly what the chairman should be doing and how to run a football club. The mistakes that are quoted are never fully informed. Decisions he got right are ignored. The superiority complex dc haters have is so ironic because they have never had or will experience running something so different to any other organisation like a football club. Ignorance of failing to realise the complexity and difficulty of keeping a club like swfc progressing towards a more successful future. Like him or loath him. He the richest guy who has the guts to try and take swfc forward. This loyalty has the return of my support. While ever a better candidate is available. Nobody so far has come anywhere close. The ignorance of thinking slating our own chairman doesn't hold the club back is shared by the ignorance of not realising its the best man available right now and for past years he been running us.

Great Future Expectations
hirstys_achilles replied to bolton9owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
January, in relegation zone.most difficult time to get decent players. Many factors involved. Every team facing same problems in bottom half of table especially. So I know let's blast the chairman. We can't blaze the manager anymore. So dc fair game again. Surprisingly not due to previous decisions that some disagree with. But with the lack of new players half way through January window. Honestly. Why do we bother. Looking forward to game. A few drinks. I know I will see what my fellow mates are saying about match tactics etc. But no. More poo like thus. Don't you have enough in life to stress about. Obviously not. So if you that bored come and sort my electricity bill and tv licence out pls keep you busy. And give you a better idea about why we need to get on with it. Stop expecting miracles. Our manager is a bloody miracle compared to the quality of other managers who up for swfc hot seat. Can the glass half empty brigade have a couple of weeks off. I know owlstalk will improve in numbers and quality of posts. -
Why people debating dc when Danny has said that he is happy with things. Keeping transfer of players private is sound football and business sense. Lots of people need to learn to forgive and forget. The past is exactly that. Its done. Gone. People who are still dc slating are holding the club back. Hes learnt from past experiences. He is still wanting to move the club forward. Its a pitty that not all supporters are on board. If we don't make the most of the present. Then all opportunities will be lost. All because of actions years ago. Lets just give it a try. Blindly support the club with this manager as we all agreed he best we had in a long time. Then at the end of the season. See if a positive attitude and atmosphere and approach has had any effect on firstly your personal enjoyment and secondly the players confidence and performance. I think these people will be very surprised.

Fact is talking about a potential transfer could make the deal more difficult to get done. We don't need to know things that ultimately could be detrimental to the Danny getting the players he wants. We should all be fine by that comment. It going to take time to get used to this. But now we have a manager who knows what he is doing. So if keeping certain things private until the players sign is brilliant news. It means that the players he is trying to get are going to be very easily tempted away if other clubs are alerted to their availability.

Minutes on the pitch better gained against a vrry very long shot than risk in a 6 pointer. Ridiculous notion to think squad rotation and realism is not put in to practice. You may have unrealistic expectations. A good manager wouldn't. A good manager would also never admit it. Give me a better reason for the team changes. Find out more about players when backs against the wall. Why risk finding this out in more important games.

Kop closed AGAIN for 4th Rd FA Cup v Coventry
hirstys_achilles replied to crookesowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I really think that this is another example of the club can't do right for wrong. Keeping everyone happy is impossible. Its spot on what they done. If we were going to get a better attendance then the kop will be open. Pricing is good value. Club saves money with not using kop. All good. -
Three 4-0s and a 5-0 in the last seven games
hirstys_achilles replied to shandypants's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
If buts maybes. Best team won. But in football this does not always happen. We did create some chances. So it's not totally doom and gloom.
