  1. And I should care about that why? My club is going down the pan, can’t find any solace in what happens to Blades.
  2. 12.30 kick off and can’t get a pint before the game? Thick as pudding, no excuse at all!!
  3. Excellent effort, both on and off the pitch.
  4. One of the better players I’ve seen turn out for Wednesday in recent years. Maybe that’s not saying much, but I liked him. Never agreed with the stick he got, in much the same way as I never believed Hutchinson was quite as good as some liked to claim. Both decent players for us in different ways.
  5. Dean is a good shout. Always rated Edwards as well, prolific in lower leagues, but think he got found at highest level.
  6. I think any selection that doesn’t include Currie (and possibly Woodward as well) lacks any credibility.
  7. Good article and potentially great manager. Always expected Röhl to move on at some stage, but to lose him through the owner’s sheer ineptitude is a hard one to take. Can only wish him well with any future move.
  8. Fair play, I misunderstood your point. Disrupting a game might be a tough one to pull off, who’s going over the top first? That said, it has to be an option for keeping the club’s position in the news.
  9. Sounds like you’ve given up already. Or do you have better ideas to keep the club’s plight in the spotlight?
  10. Riverside is decent. In years gone by I always liked it in the Wadsley Jack and the Rose & Crown, but probably too much of a walk for some (especially on the way back!)
  11. Well that draw felt like a win, very pleased for the players and manager, who seem to be working hard in an impossible position. If we can start next season in League One with new owners, a younger squad and a strong team spirit forged in adversity, there may be something good still to come out of this unholy mess.
  12. There is none at the moment, it’s all about football survival. United’s result has no bearing on that so I’m not interested. If I was I could check the BBC website and find out, don’t really need it in the Matchday thread.
  13. Is that really supposed to make me feel any better? Don’t understand the fascination with Blades results unless we’re in direct competition.
  14. So sorry to hear this terrible news, can’t imagine how awful you must feel. We don’t know each other, but love to you and the family all the same.
