  1. The only booing that I heard was directed at the stewards when they tried to chase / remove them, not directed at the fans.
  2. Until recently, I wasn’t aware of the 5% going to the away club for away ticket sales, and so felt justified in still travelling assuming no money (except for the rip off admin fee) was going to The Frugal One. This info, does make me reassess as I don’t want to be contributing towards him in any way, indicate it. It is worth noting that aside from paying the ticket staff, clubs take a proportion of our own stewards to away games who need to be paid for, as well as a few South Yorks police. So maybe this offsets the 5%? I do appreciate that maybe I am clutching at straws a little though. The true acid test for us all is going to be season ticket renewal time, as most of us will feel justified that we’d paid for this seasons well in advance of the current debarcle. However, we’ll all be making an informed choice this time, and we’re going to have to make a very difficult decision. If this is us currently, I dread to think what what the infighting could be when the early bird begging bowl comes out!
  3. They’re actually being sold at a slight loss, but it was felt simpler to sell for a fiver especially with the cash preference.
  4. Has anyone received their physical season ticket (not digital)? I opted for this when buying back in January and now regretting it as I'm at the perils of the royal mail as well as the clubs challenges. Unless it arrives in Thursday's post, I'm knackered due to being away from home and unable to get back before the match.
  5. Got talking to a few Leicester lads on the train who were all interested to hear in more detail about what is going on with us. It is actually really difficult to even begin to explain the detail and severity of what been happening, and giving it the justice that it deserves. I always seem to forget something really important when trying to explain in fullness (eg oh yeah, and I almost forgot - I've currently got nowhere to sit or Season Ticket, as the North Stand is closed!!). There is maybe a bit of tragedy voyeurism from some, a bit like people people coming our on the street to watch a house fire, but every single one of them that I met showed empathy and solidarity, which was heartwarming and even a little surprising. Special mention to two Leicester lads who actually joined our pre-game protest and stood with us until 4.35pm. Top lads, who wanted to make a stand against the regime and system.
  6. Very well said. Everyone is affected differently, and it’s such a worthy thing to highlight this to allow others to acknowledge and feel able to talk about their mental health. Football can be such an enabler for people to get enjoyment, forget worries and create connections with others, so when this is threatened it can understandably cause angst. As fans, we all get the face on when our team loses or the season doesn’t go according to plan, but when the very fabric of our club and hopes and dreams for the season are pretty much swiped away like this, it can be much harder to deal with for some. The constant daily drip feed or negative news over the summer can also take its toll if we’re not careful. I have had to check myself a couple of times and give my phone a rest for a few days, as it wears you out mentally. I’m not totally sure that we’ve bottomed out yet, but surely we can’t be far away, if not already, which does (hopefully) mean that we will turn the corner soon and better times are ahead, even if the road may be bumpy. Keep the faith all and look out for one another. WAWAW PS please do one, Chansiri and give us all a lift!
  7. Great effort organising this. I’m up for another protest. Also, secretly looking forward to staring down the chansiri apologist who shouts abuse at protesters on the North!
  8. It’s an initial allocation. It’ll increase when they’ve shifted.
  9. Confident! Can everyone please stop this sourcery
  10. Used to be called the North West Terrace on the stadium map back in the day
